I have no idea why it was so short, and I wasn't really a fan of it being cut down. I'm sure the big reason for it being shorter is because they were able to tell the needed story in the 9 minutes that it was, but whatever. It still left me wanting for next week's episode, so while it probably wasn't as good as the first episode, it still succeeded in that aspect.
I agree. That one was very short. Taking out the opening sequence and ending credits and what not, it was only a couple minutes long. Lets hope they learn from there mistakes for episode 3
Episode 4 for all you guys. This was DEFINITELY a step up from last week. While I thought last weeks episode wasn't nearly as bad as it was made out to be, it was still the worst of the series so far. Luckily, this episode brings back the TV-MA rating (yay blood and foul language), and gets a lot better in the process. But yea, about this episode. It was GOOD. Like, really good, in my book, and probably the best of the series so far (only the first episode can hold up to it). We get our first look at Outworld, and I liked the story of Kitana and Mileena a lot...it was a lot more interesting than Johnny Cage's background story was last week (seriously, a fucking Power Ranger?!). But hey, if you started to give up on this series after last week, it came back with it's best episode this week, and I'm again anxious to see what they bring to the table next week.
Agreed, this weeks episode is much better. Looking forward to seeing what will happen with next weeks
My bad lol. Thank you both for keeping us updated. On a side note did anyone else notice that they changed Baraka's origin and design from the first initial trailer?
Episode 5 for you're viewing. I liked it, though it was maybe 6 minutes after the recap and credits. I don't think it was as good as last week, but it was still enjoyable. I'm curious for what they're doing next week and who the episode will focus on.
