Who has been the best player in the NCAA Tournament so far? I think it's Deron Williams of Illinois because he is such a great floor leader and his chemistry is so good with Dee Brown and Luther Head. He led the late comeback against Arizona in the Sweet 16, and he plays great defense.
Luther Head becuz of his performance in the Louisville game...he was on fire when Illinois was usin the clock to win...he was hittin threes with 4 or 5 seconds left on the shot clock like they were nothin...
You could make a case for a lot of people. I think the main three are Sean May, Francisco Garcia and Deron Williams. I would give the edge to May right now. He has dominated in every game so far. Whether being a defensive force, rebounding or scoring.
