This should be a fun game if people actually play. Just list a fact about a song and the next person has to guess what it is. Now let's be real about this and not name a song that no one has a chance of knowing. No listing facts about the 13th track on Yanni's Christmas album. Also, if you want some facts about songs, go to songfacts.com and get one about songs. Except dont copy and paste it; re-word it so people wont just google what you said and cheat. Also, actually put a fact about the song and not just a lyric. If its a hard song, list who sings it as well. I'll go first, First Song Fact:This song was the b-side to The Beatles hit "Hello, Goodbye." It did pretty good for a b-side single. It was written by John Lennon while "Hello, Goodbye" was written by Paul McCartney. Lennon that it was bullsh** that his song was the B-Side because he thought McCartney's "Hello, Goodbye" was just a silly and stupid love song.Should be pretty easy. :winkglasses:
yeah, great idea for a thread, it's just I don't know how many people know all that much about music. I'll admit, I don't know sh*t about the beatles.
I think if it were a more modern tune we would have been okay... I've heard of this B-Side but I'd have to look it up. I don't listen to the Beatles really, and I'm relatively old for this forum.
D-D-Damn. Okay I'll tell ya'll the tune and then make up another one. I thought I'd heard that there were plenty of Beatle fans on the board is why I put this one. Thought it was pretty easy. The Tune is "I Am The Walrus."The music Video for this song has the band playing as other bands and artists that have influenced them. Some of the noteables are Elvis Presley, The Beatles, and Nirvana. I'm not going to say who the band is because I think that would "give it away." Now I just included a hint on who the band was in the last sentence. The song title is the name of a girl. Has a state in the title as well. Should be pretty easy. . . I hope.
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Dani CaliforniaThat one was easier...Song Fact Number 2? Or 3? This song by Eric B. & Rakim was 'remade' if you will by Rage Against The Machine.I think this one is pretty easy.
Well I was gonna let someone else have a chance at the song, but I'll go ahead and do it. Its Microphone Fiend.Next One:Nirvana's Cobain used to use this line when he'd enter a party. "Here we are now, enterain us." It's used in the song numberous times. Off the Nevermind album.
Okay, I really liked this idea, so I'm gonna try it again since we have more members. Maybe it'll be better 2nd time around. Here you go:Jimi Hendrix's highest charting song. Its a cover of a Bob Dylan song. Dylan liked this version more than his version actaully and described it as "heavier" than his original. Dylan's version of course is of the folk variety and slower.PLEASE SOMEONE GET IT.
All Along the WatchtowerGreat song, many artists have made a version of it. My dad has like 15 different versions sung by different people on his iPod.
