Most people even share beats therefore doesn't make it original. Rock comes from the heart, they use instruments and develop the sound by themselves.

Having said that, I think Rock destroys Rap. I respect rap, but I really don't think it comes near Rock. As a musician, Rock takes more talent (I am talking about true original rock, not some Linkin Park, Nickleback crap). I've seen both types of artists in studio, and have worked with both types of artists, all though these are small local artists. From my experiences rap artists generally don't contend from a musicianship stand point, understanding what it takes to make quality music. They just show up with their rhymes, find a beat and go. Although I love rock, I think this could never be a true debate, your never going to sway anyones opinion. To experience rock, pick up a guitar, to experience rap, start writing, put yourself in the other music, and see what you really like more. Re: Rock'N'Roll vs. Rap I listen to both, rap and rock. Recently i have been listening to much more Rap because i was introduced to the underground rap scene last summer. The guy that introduced it to me is a skateboarder as well. I kind of findit strange how more skateboarders in my area listen to better rap than the "ghetto" peopleAnyway, i listen to the likes of Binary Star, Atmosphere, Jedi Mind Tricks, Outerspace, Immortal Technique, Illogic, Murs, GZA, Diabolic.....etc....Hmmm, i don't like Tupac that much to be honest with you. Everybody has been riding his balls recently. Unless someone can give me some of his good songs? And any other rappers?I think my taste in Rock sucks. I listen to Bloc Party, System of a Down, Linkin Park, The Strokes, Foo Fighters, Bad Religion, Neutral Milk Hotel....jajajajaja. I need some more bands to listen to as well..

And any other rappers?</div>Anything on the "All Eyes On Me" and " The 7 day theory" Are all classics, everything he writes is true and inspirational, so really every tupac song is a rap clasic.I listen to some indie, not a lot though, just Snow Patrol, The Kooks and Bloc Party.
