Evans has some of the best hands out of any wide receiver in 2009, if not the best. He is very explosive and runs his routes fairly well. He is probably the best "jump ball" receiver in this class and will remind a lot of people of Randy Moss in the fact that he makes ridiculously hard catches look easy. He has some potential as a kick returner on special teams.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Having done a blog or two about Shaquelle Evans in the past, I can say with some certainty that the receiver from Inglewood is one of the most sought-after Class of 2009 football prospects in the nation. Everyone is courting this kid. No joke.

You can count USC as one of the more interested parties . And it appears the feeling is mutual after reading these quotes. While Evans hasn't officially announced a favorite among his suitors, the Trojans should be considered just that.

USC, along with NCAA Division I powerhouses such as LSU, Notre Dame and Oklahoma, is one of 12 programs offering Evans scholarships. Word is the 6-foot-1, 190 pound junior plans on making a decision sometime in September. Stay tuned.</div>
