Well, when we get by Stanford who I think has the best two lines in football than I'd say we'll be hosting that national championship for sure!

None of it means anything..... college football is a mine field. You have no idea which team will explode your dreams.

    Why Nate, you're a philosopher.

A bad philosopher, but a philosopher nonetheless.

But I was smart enough not to waste time and money on a philosophy degree, so I'm a smart philosopher

I don't know how to respond to this deep insight. Exploded dreams are hot when my wife is on the receiving end.

I just mean that simulations and rankings don't mean anything until the final week and the final game. The past two years I've thought we had a good shot at going to the Natty, only to watch us completely piss away our chances by mailing it in against USC and then Stanford. I just try to enjoy it one week at a time and not worry about the Natty until we come to that bridge.

It's just fun banter and something to look at and oooh and aaaah over. Like a stripper. You know. Oh, you know.

Besides, these sims are highly accurate. Last year they has USC #1 and winning the NC championship and we all saw that unfold.

Wait. Self-appointed smartness is never as valuable as a government approved school giving you a piece of paper saying you're really smart. Companies pay $$ for the latter. Then you can get the girl and big house! :)
