Oregon now holds the longest home winning streak in the FBS at 21 games.
The Ducks have scored five touchdowns on fourth-down plays this season.
Oregon four 2-point conversions are tied for the most in the FBS
UO is 7-0 at Autzen Stadium vs. top 25 competition under head coach Chip Kelly.
JR QB Darron Thomas, who is 15-0 as a starter in conference play, saw reserve duty as a true freshman in UO’s last loss against the Trojans in 2008. Thomas has a touchdown pass in 22 straight games, which is the second-longest streak in the nation behind Wisconsin’s Russell Wilson (34).
The Ducks’ turnover margin in Sept./Oct. was even. In November it’s +5.

All that said, I'm friggin' scared about this Saturday's game.

I went out and bought a carpet runner to lay on my coffee table for during-the-game rants.

Haha, Stanford scared me more. Better offense and better defense and on the road. I think we got this one!

I guess I feel that way because of the game USC put up against Stanford.

As much as Oregon dominated Stanford, for most of the game it was Oregon's big plays that took the Cardinal out of it. Stanford had a whole lot of ball control going on until they self-destructed.

Is it just me or does our offense and defense seem to be elevating to a level we haven't seen before? Things just really seem to be clicking with the players in place under Kelly's system. It's evolving.

USC is in for another Oregon beatdown! :ghoti:

I think Oregon's last long home winning streak ended in the 2001 Fiesta Bowl season. We had a streak of 22 games that year and blew it to a bad Stanford team.

Wait ... why in the world did you schedule your wedding on the day of a Duck home game?

Of course, I know somebody a few years ago who scheduled their wedding on the afternoon of the Civil War (the 65-38 game that knocked OS out of the Rose Bowl), and the groom was even an OS grad and season-ticket holder. Talk about being p-whipped ... :)

I know...I know...for the record - a) she's a pretty good catch and b) we had a TV at the Church and my groomsman had an earpiece with devised hand signals for game progression. I was far, but not TOO far.

Oh, and our rented SUV (best when your friends trash a rental and not your own personal car) was sporting Duck flags! :)

    There we go.

Like ABM, I am more concerned with USC than Stanford. Stanford isn't a very deep or fast team. They just have some good players and no defense to speak of. USC is still loaded with NFL talent and they're 2-3 deep at every position. If they were more motivated to play, they'd be undefeated now.

The thing is, this game really doesn't matter. Win or lose, a civil war victory puts us into the Pac-12 title game with virtually no chance of not reaching the Rose Bowl. National title aspirations are a pipe dream, but our first BCS game victory in a decade is within our grasp.

All true. I'm just a lot more greedy. :)

Plus, I hate friggin' USC. They're my PAC-12 equivalent of the L*kers.

Actually, re-reading the recruiting thread made me re-think my earlier statement. In terms of this season, the game doesn't matter. But in terms of recruiting, this game is enormous. USC is the only program that is comparably attractive to ours to top recruits. A blowout win over the Trojans would be huge.

Plus, I hate friggin' USC too. :)

Stanford outgained USC in yards by 516 to 432.
    Oregon held Stanford to 400.

USC really struggled with Minn - who is 2-8.

I'd say one of the faster defensive teams in the Pac is ASU. In that game, SC struggled to adjust to the speed, turned the ball over 4 times and lost by 21 points. Even CU put up 17 points and nearly 400 yards on SC.

    We got this.
