The Ultimate Figting Championship was formed about 10 years ago I think, and Ken Shamrock and Royce Gracie were in UFC 1. Anyways Dana White is the president and what it is basically there is a UFC tournament say every other month and different fighters don't fight again for say 3 months and they train fiercely for every fight. the UFC is just the leading organization of a lot of MMA organizations. MMA stands for Mixed Martial Arts. UFC fighters have to train in Grappling, Jiu Jitsu, Wrestling, Karate, Kickboxing, boxing, submission, standup, etc...Anyways any fans of the UFC here? I'm a big fan. also, UFC hosts a reality show called the Ultimate Fighter. the Ultimate Fighter Season 3 is on now, and I'm rooting for Team Shamrock because Im a big Ken Shamrock and Lions Den supporter and I dont like Tito Ortiz. Dont get me wrong though, Tito's a maddddddddd funny guy. Hes so <Censored> funny But anyways just wanted to create a thread to see some fans.
I thought Ken Shamrock had to retire?I heard he had some major problems that if he was hit or slammed wrong he could die.
Na, he retired from WWE, and yeah they said that but it was just a lie. you know for the show? anyways ken isn't as dangerous as before but he's in good shape. He's fighting tito ortiz again this june.
Lol, how is the UFC boring? I cant even watch baseball anymore because of the UFC. UFC Unleashed on Spike TV is boring, but not the live stuff on PPV.
I find it much more fun trying to fight with my big big brother, I get beat a lot, but its like having ringside seats at the ufc lol
UFC is so much fun to watch, it gets me so pumped to wrestle afterwards, me and my friend always go at it with boxing gloves and stuff after watching that..So good..

Shamrock is a terrible coach from what I've seen and his team is lazy. Ortiz is likable and is a good coach and picked a solid team, even though he should have took Ed Hermann. I wonder how good this deaf kid is.

I've been following it since 2000 and I remember sometime ago after beating Guy Mezger, a Lions Den fighter Tito ortiz wore a short saying "gay Mezger is my <Censored>". that's where all the beef started with Ken and Tito. the deaf kid is only good at wrestling. and ed herman will be tito's downfall, Ed was wondering why Tito didnt pick him, and well Shamrock gets the benifet from him. and i hate the noah onfiher dude. Anyways anybody heard of Forest Griffen? He was the Ultimate Fighter season 1 champ and he is now 12-4 and just recently lost a decision to Tito Ortiz at UFC 59 which the fans felt Forest shouldve won. his strengths are his standup and toughness. he trains with Chuck Liddell and Randy Couture and if he keeps up his progress I bet he can be a Light Heavyweight champion one day.

I've been following it since 2000</div>He's not getting any respect from the guys he's picked and the fighters don't like his training. That's why I said it looked like he was a terrible coach. It's more of the fighters fault, but Shamrock has to take control of it and start getting guys to listen to him like Ortiz has. I'm not dissing the fighters that came out of his Lion's Den, but why did he bring in a nutritionist? I believe I've watched it since the first one on video, fan of Royce Gracie. Then after the first 3 events via rental, I stopped watching it. Started watching it again since it's been on SpikeTv. PPV's too much money to buy.
I've watched it live on PPV once it was 35 <Censored> dollars true... but just download it 2 days later and dont find out who won the fights so its as if you were watching it live. thats what I do. anyways it is the fighters fault that they dont listen, but it said in Shamrock's book that he gives his fighters a strict diet, and its because first of all hes had a history of bad eating before a fight and that it caused him to not fight a couple times, he knows nutrition is important, and he wants them to stay in shape for fights. He may be strict but he gave the fighters 2 days off unlike Ortiz so they can rest, and some of the fighers said that Shamrock was really experianced they were saying he knows when his fighters need rests, etc. which is true shamrock is such a seasoned warrior. I like Tito because of his humor, but thats about it.

How was that Forrest/Tito fight though, I was anticipating that match when they first announced it.
Imo Forest should've won, he even won the crowd. he was tough but i guess the judges thought tito was more explosive so thats why tito won the decision.
