I think Theo walcott will be englands answer to "who will replace owen" i think it will be nearly impossible for owen to get back into the side and then i think crouch's goals scoring and novlety will run out then i believe walcott will easily be in the england squad with some rivals e.g. defoe. i think mclaren should give him a chance now to prove himself. plus, he gain only gain good things from arsenal from their own young guns e.g. fabregas van persie. and of course theres the wisdom of the greatest striker o the earth, Thierry henry. He would also compliment rooney as he has the power the shooting ability and the pure aggression where as walcott has the pace the skill and the nimbleniss

Thats my case for why walcott should be in the england squad

Tell me whether you agree or not.

You want some punk who can't even break into the Arsenal squad on a regular basis to play for England? Walcott is all media hype, his shown ziltch at a professional level on the pitch. But anyway give it 2-3 years and we will have another batch of youths to hype over and potentially destory.

I think Walcott will be a great player, but all the hype surrounding him at the moment is silly. Give it 4 -5 years and I think he will be an excellent player, but he is too inexperienced.

i agree whit spawny, He still needs to grow and give him some time, then he will tell us if he's good enouf to be a top player but many people are saying he's the next Henry but i doubt it

Hopefully he wont just be another one of those overhyped kids who peak too early and have their careers die out prematurely
