Is it me or is this one of the best classes we've ever seen and not to mention next year's class. This year we have guys like Oden, Lawson, Wright, Conley, Kevin Durant, Thaddeus Young, Javaris Crittenton, Ellington, Budinger, and Daequan Cook just to name some of them. I think this could be another class of 03 led by Oden and Wright. Nex year's class should be good as well with stars like OJ Mayo, Bill Walker, and Michael Beasley.
Lots of freshmen are starting and doing great.. and because they couldn't leave to go to the NBA, we've seen them play in college. And I guess Bill Walker is also in the freshmen class because he is a freshmen at Kansas State. I haven't seen Kansas State play, but, I don't think he's played yet.. does anyone know why? It is because a rule or something?

The 2006 high school class was one of the, if not the, best class in the last fifteen years, although the '96 class (Kobe, J. O'Neal, Bibby, Francis, Rip, Marion, K-Mart, Cleaves, etc.) and the '95 class (Garnett, Carter, Pierce, Billups, Abdur-Rahim, Marbury, Jamison, etc.) are pretty close talent-wise. Don't overlook guys like Tyler Smith (Iowa), Matt Bouldin (Gonzaga), or Raymar Morgan (Michigan State) when talking about the impact players of the class either. Each one of those guys has a legit NBA future.
Here's two articles JBB wrote prior to the season covering this year's NCAA recruiting classes. Rankings 1-25 Rankings 26-50
I hope to see some shareef abdur rahim's on the court (freshmen that totally dominate on the court) and not some marvin williams or rudy gays (freshmen with alot of "potential" but with some really wack stats) i want to see results like carmelo anthony freshmen dominating all the way up to the final four. not just kids that want this year to be over as soon as possible.
