Yeah, old school Three 6 Mafia was crunk. But, I still like their new stuff. When I first heard their new song, the money one, I'm not sure what it's called, I thought it was pretty wack, but when I hear it more and more, I'm starting to like it. That's how I felt about Doe Boy Fresh. None the less, this should be a crunk album. The new Lil Wyte is definatly crunk though, so he's representing, and I feel Three 6 will do the same.
Without a doubt they are crunk, and always will be, but the old 36 with Gangsta Boo, La Chat, Koopsta and Scarecrow was awesome, im probably going to buy the CD, but im not expecting much of it although Im looking forward to the Crime Mob song, those chicks sound exactly like Gangsta Boo and La Chat...
Is 'crunk' the word mainly used to describe things in the South? Hear it in Southern songs and stuff, but that's actually part of your culture? Just wondering, just like over here in LA, we say 'dope' in pretty much the same sense, but we use it to talk good about other things too.

"Crunk" rap. It's really the only kind of rap I like.
Crunk is hard to explain, its a type of music(lots of trills, low bass) and its can be a way you act, you can "get crunk" where you basicly do the G-Walk, which it is where Turfing comes from, im sure you know about that cause thats the dance in the West.But dont think all the South is like that, Memphis is half and half, we have crunk, but we have alotve fast and smooth styles too.
