Would you vote for an african-american man for president?Would you vote for a woman for president?Would you vote an african-american woman for president? This seems to be a topic that everyone thinks about, but never talks about.

the president of Ireland is a woman but I dont think she does anything because we also have a ta?s?cht (prime minister in Irish)
I can't answear this question because I dont vote based on race or sex, I vote on the Issues. for aruements sake the first one was Barrack Obama than yes I'd vote for him, if the second one was Hilary Clinton than no I wouldn't vote for her, and the third was Cynthia McKenny that would also be a no.
Yes, as long as it's a good candidate I don't really care. I think women can make good presidents, but it would be weird having a First Man instead of lady.
I wouldn't vote for a candidate based on their race or gender, I would vote for whoever I felt best represents my views on issues, irrelevant of their race or sex.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (LBJ @ Dec 24 2006, 01:51 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>YesNoNo</div>I agree. I believe in women's rights less and less daily.
Like Redneck said, it depends on if I agree with them on certain issues. Like I would never vote for Hilary Clinton for president, but that doesn't mean I dont think a woman could do the job, because some women are just as qualified as men. Same thing for the African American canidates. Wouldnt vote for A Sharpton, but doesn't mean I dont think Afican Americans are less qualified for tthe job.
It's all in what they believe and bring to the table. Skin color, race, sex, etc. should all be disregarded. People put too much stock into those things and not the real issues that the candidates are fighting for.
YesYesYesI don't care if there black, or female..If they believe in the same issues I believe in, than they get my vote.
To be honest, I wouldn't want a woman leading our country. I would be fine with a leader of any race though, as long as they are the appropriate people to lead the country.

You have to vote for what they stand for and who they are. So my answer is Yes.Yes. But not if it's Hilary Clinton. Yes.

A lot of people voted for Ronald Reagan after they showed him doing athletic things (I think it was bench pressing, but don't quote me on that) and Clinton after he played the sax on tv. I bet most people would be unwilling to vote for a hot chick, though.
I would vote a black man into presidency, but NEVER, NEVER, <span style="font-size:18pt;line-height:100%">NEVER</span>, a women!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Nothing against them, but throughout history(with a few exceptions), women politicians have been conniving, never trust a women politician.
