So last sunday in our weekly soccer game, our team played what was the best team (points wise) in our league to that point, and supposedly they had a former timber on the team Of course i didnt believe it, and then he scored 5 goals by himself, but i still didnt believe it. "Former successful Timber" is a gross understatement. Byron is one of the most beloved Timbers ever. He played in MLS for a minute with the MetroStars, where he wasn't too successful. Acctually several former Timbers still play in local leagues.
