So I went to Vegas recently, and played a little Craps while I was there. I won at every table I went to, and almost paid for my entire trip. Two of the four people did pay for their entire trip too. Craps is amazing. If you have the sack to ante up, it's pretty impossible to finish down. I threw 100 dollars on the table, lost all but 5 dollars of it in like 10 or 15 minutes, so I tossed another 40 bucks down to stay in the game...... an hour later I walked away from the table 185 bucks up from my original 140. And that was the worst I did over the 3 days I gambled. Not to mention the over 200 dollars worth of free drinks they served me while I was gambling. Factor all the free booze in and I came away from the weekend up.Learn to play craps my friends. It's a rollercoaster and impossible to lose IF you have to sack to go in. The people who lose throw like 40 bucks down, get pissed when they lose it in 5 minutes and walk away calling it bullshit. But all 4 of us ended the weekend up, and never finished down at a table and had tons of fun. It's great when you go "I just spent 3 hours gambling, drank like 12 free drinks, and came away with 200 bucks than I came with.

Out of those four the best atmosphere was the NY NY. Plus I started off at a 5 dollar minimum before 1pm and after 1 they honored the 5 dollar minimum even though the table's minimum increased to 10. Anything above a 10 dollar minimum is a suckers table. There is no reason you should put more than 10 bucks down just to get in the game unless you are planning on putting upwards of 500 dollars on the table at the same time (in which case by all means, go to the 25 dollar minimum table). I was fine putting no more than 80 bucks on the table at a time. Plus it was all for fun.
