Whichever movie is scarier.Not a big fan of scary movies so I cant tell ya, but id probably lean towards the Hills have Eyes based on the promos and shit (Which is a really crappy way to judge)
Silent Hill = will be shitI haven't seen the movie but I've played every version of the game. It's not movie material. It's too complicated a story to just throw a movie out there on the market. Just to explain basic facts in a movie about the game would take at least an hour to fully comprehend Silent Hill. It's also not really geared to be scary. More like a creepy, strange, deranged kind of way. It's not killing zombies, it's more of running away from them and solving puzzles to escape.Quite simply put, of all video games, making a movie of Silent Hill is a really hard task.

Resident Evil is different. It has no story lol The entire game is killing zombies. Silent Hill is not even close to being the same no-brain movie that Resident Evil was. Silent Hill has much more of a deeper plot and story line.

It's basically everything chang said in the last two sentences. It'll be pretty confusing at first but the story comes together at the end.
