Jim O'brien was fired by the 76ers today...I wonder if we might take a look at him for our coach because he is a defensive minded....No push over coach that McHale likes..I am not sure I would want him as our coach but I do think he will get at least a phone call about the Job

O'Brien is more of a run and gun coach that prefers that full court and fast break offense. He emphasizes more three pointers which I really don't think would fit well in the Timberwolve's offense. In Philadelphia, many of his defensive schemes were questioned and weren't too effective. I don't know if its because of the players- but with guys like Dalembert, Iverson, and Iguodala who are all great defenders, that saying something.

And didnt take that well to them questioning his coaching strategy.
Thank God he did not get the job. I like O'Brien, but he wouldn't be a great fit and I don't think he is KG's type of guy.
