couldn't shoot from beyond 10 feet? -Why would you go for a 10ft shot when you can easily make a short hook or dunk? had hit one 3-pointer in 10 years? -Like I said before. A dunk is more likely to go in. had no handles? -No need to crossover, just backdown and dominate your opponent. had a negative assist-turnover ratio? -One of his negatives. But It doesnt really matter when you win. averaged less than a steal a game? -It's hard to steal when you got big hands. But you can make it up with blocks. shot 53 percent from the line for his career? -Big flaw. But everybody has atleast 1 weakness. missed five free throws per game? -Like I said above. couldn't make a spin in traffic? -Why spin and risk turning the ball over when you can power your way in? couldn't shoot a left-handed layup? -Why lay it up when you can just dunk it? couldn't play defense 15 feet from the basket? -Better than giving up layups If Shaq was a 6ft guard he would obviously work on other parts of his game anyways. And when you're 6ft you are naturally able to do other stuff that 7 footers cant. You're a Funny Guy man.
Okay im not saying that i hate shaq because i dont but cmon. You guys all hate on kobe and the lakers and say shaq is amazing and all that which is fine FOR NOW. In three years when shaq is retired or rundown and kobe is JUST HITTING HIS PRIME, then all you shaq lovers/kobe haters can talk. and the way that most of you guys talk you would think that the shaq trade ended the lakers franchise. Hello? they are the Lakers. They will be back in 2-3 years guaranteed. Kobe will learn to play the game the right way just like Jordan did in Chicago(which he didnt figure out until he was about 29-30) and the lakers will be on top again. I have nuthin against shaq he was and is great but i think the lakers made the right move for the long run.
Tempted, You're forgetting other things that Shaq can do. Why do you call him the most dominant center? They're stupid? Don't tell me you're smarter and know better about basketball than those people in NBA organizations. Why did they give him MVP? How win 3 champs? "He's great only because he's big"... this peope say so many times but basketball is about size. You gotta have a big body and length to play better basketball.
