    Bogut + Redd + Ford + Mason = Playoff 06 for Bucks.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Voodoo Child:</div><div class="quote_post">First of all, congratulations to all Bucks fans. I wanted to see Bogut go to one of three teams; Utah, Golden State, or Milwaukee, simply because I wanted to see one of those teams be revived to their glory days.

Secondly, I don't know if Gadzuric has a bright future with the Bucks. With Bogut now there, that pretty much guaruntees a huge loss in playing time for Gadzuric, and since both he and Pachulia are restricted free agents, they'll probably leave to a team that can offer them either a starting job or a lot of playing time.</div>

it may sound crazy to be suggesting we get rid of a solid veteran and go with a very young team, i wouldn't have a problem if we got rid of joe smith now. with Zaza, Danny G and potentially Bogut, we've got 3 solid players who can rotate between the big spots. while losing smith would be tough on us if we got to the playoffs, i think that it'd be better for the franchise's future to get rid of his big contract, and use the $$$ on our youngsters instead, let them grow up together, along with mason and redd, we could potentially have them all signed to multi year deals, and mo williams is signed thru 2007, too. if TJ came back, it'd be even better. but i think it's important to remember that this team is still in rebuilding, and getting rid of pricey vet smith and keeping the developing young bigs is a move i think would benefit the team in the long run. either way, i can't believe how awesome this is. thanks for the kind words, voodoo, and here's hoping that all 3 of the teams you mentioned return to prominence [IMG]

Congrats Bucks Fans! I was so hoping to get the #1 pick. Oh well, draft smart and dont pick a bust. Any chance for a #9 pick, 2nd rounder and a player like Dunleavy, Murphy, Foyle or Fisher?

I think that your Warriors will be back in playoff contention next year even without the top pick. They're really looking good [IMG]

Nah, I think we'll keep the pick. Thanks for the offer though [IMG]

WOW...........I'm driving home from the Brewer game and I hear we got the #1 pick....

I almost crashed, never expected this.

I guess Larry Harris's lucky charms he collected in a contest worked.

Bogut or Marvin will be a Buck.

I was waiting for you to get in here man!!! Isn't this the definition of awesome!!! This is the best scenario we ever could've had for rebuilding, it's so awesome! I haven't been this excited about the Bucks since the East Finals vs. Philly! And how 'bout them Brewers, too, huh? [IMG]

I sure was hoping Utah got it so they could get there home state player in Bogut but they fell to 6th. But Congrats and if they don't pick Bogut they're stupid.

They should also keep Danny and Joe Smith because they got Shaq and The deep Pistons frontline in the east still. Plus Washington is still have young big men to go up against in future years. If they keep them too look at the height advantage they'll have the whole game.

haven't been here for a while, I just have to see everyone's reaction. I was at work unfortunately, and missed the lotto, plus I assumed we would just stay put anyways at the #6 so I didn't care, but this is amazing. it's 3:30 am right now and i keep watching espnews to watch the 10 second clip with Larry Harris and them opening the envelope. I hope that Harris will keep Gadzuric though. Move Gadz to PF, that would be an awesome frontcourt combo both defensively and offensively. Let's get rid of Joe Smith. Here's my ideal 8 man rotation...of course I wouldn't be opposed to trading Mason with Joe Smith in a package deal for some good role players or something.

    Ford/Williams
    Redd/Mason
    Simmons/Mason
    Gadzuric/Zaza
    Bogut/Zaza
