Sometimes it just sounds like he doesn't appreciate the high schoolers at all.
Favorite TNT crew(dumb, dumber and Sir Charles) Worst Stephen Smith cuz he sounds mad all the time. I just don't know why he's mad.
Worst - Stephen A. Smith someone needs to buy him a hearing aid because he's obviously tone deaf. For some reason he equates yelling with making a valid point. Best - Stu Lance from the Lakers broadcasts. Un-biased and knowlegable. A more main stream person I like Mark Jackson from ESPN, and Charles Barkley from TNT. David Aldridge was also one of my favorites when he was with ESPN.
Worst: Bill Walton. Best: Knicks' Clyde Frazier. Some of the stuff he says really teaches you a lot...after you look it up in the dictionary. Love his expressions though...dishing and swishing, the closer he gets to the basket, the more baffled he becomes etc.
Marc Zummoff of the Sixers broadcasting I really like. He really knows everything about the game and what is going on, and really knows how to pump you up for tense games or something. For example when we knock down a big shot when he screams "YES!", it sends so many goosebumps down my back.
Favourite: Charles Barkley and Jack Armstrong. They say it like it is and don't ride the company line. Worst: Clyde Frazier. Dude speaks like he's in a room with leaked Laughing Gas. Also, Dick Vitale. God forbids a team in the drfat selects a high schooler or an internationale player. He's as biased as you could have these days.
Best: Kevin Harlan and Marv Albert, Mike Tirico --- these guys just have voices made for commentating, whenever somebody dunks or makes a big shot "OHHHHHH! A SPECTACULAR..." Worst: Walton, Tom Tolbert.
I was watching the Suns-Spurs series last night and nobody talked about him. Hubie Brown. He may not be that exciting, but he always knows whats going on, stats, and what its like from a coach`s standpoint. He brings some humor which is always good for the people watching. I think Hubie should continue broadcasting for ABC, he knows his stuff.
