<div class="quote_poster">Quoting D-Mob:</div><div class="quote_post">Nice mock, but I really don't think Charlotte would pass up Ray Felton for Deron Williams.</div> I think it's a toss-up between those two in terms of talent. What Bobcats' management feels about them I don't know...but Deron Williams' stock has been rising so I figure he'd go before Felton. Never know, though.
I know all the stuff about Charlotte taking the hometown kid to boost ticket sales etc, but if they don't get in a position to take Marvin Williams, when push comes to shove, Deron is a better point guard than Ray Felton.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Da_Future_2k5:</div><div class="quote_post">Portland takin Paul? are u serious? lol... thats the only person they WOULDNT take in the top 4</div> Yeah he is right. Why with they draft Paul when they have Telfair? I think they will go with Gerald Green if you ask me.
David Lee? If you haven't noticed, Isiah is not particualrly interested in players like David Lee (hint: it has nothing to do with his game).
i doubt portland would try to get paul if availble. they have telfair and he has been playin good as a starter. but im probably wrong.
I am not a college fan, but I cannot see any faults in it .. but I would think Portland would take Green, because they have Telfair, no need to get Paul. I hope somehow, the Rockets could pick up some later pick in the first round, from Utah or somebody so that they could pick up Simien and Garcia.. Just a Pipe-Dream, though.
why Why in the world would Portland take Chris Paul when they already have Sebastian Telfair who they are very satisfied with?
I'm guessing Chris Paul would be drafted because he is the BPA, and that would allow the Blazers to explore trades. Don't really know why though, it would make more sense for Portland to trade down with NO and Utah for the player of their liking (Green, Webster, Granger). However, with the NO and Utah pick, they both select PG's...that's where I get lost.
I would think that Portland would draft Gerald Green. Although Paul is a legit top 3 pick, Telfair is the future of the Blazers at point guard and even though Paul could play the two, a backcourt of two six-footers won't be so desirable. magno, I think Garcia would go at best in the 30's. His lack of athleticism and defensive ability overshadows his shooting ability and size. I don't see too bright of a future for him in the NBA, maybe a Casey Jacobsen type player. Simien, though, sounds like a possibility at that 24th spot. A trade with Utah is not out of the picture, as they have 5 picks and would be looking to trade some. Maybe we get the 34th pick from Utah for future considerations and take John Gilchrist?

I just looked at there roster and the only white guy is some 7 footer from Croatia.

why do so many drafts have the Raps taking Fran....hello.....meet Chris Bosh! PF! not bad overall though. i can deal with Wright for the Raps at 16, though i'd prefer Granger
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting 02civic:</div><div class="quote_post">why do so many drafts have the Raps taking Fran....hello.....meet Chris Bosh! PF! not bad overall though. i can deal with Wright for the Raps at 16, though i'd prefer Granger</div> The Raptors can use someone like Fran Vazquez especially with Rafael Araujo not looking like he'll get any better. I think someone like Vazquez will compliment Bosh well. With Bosh developing his game in the low post, Vazquez has the perfect midrange jumper to make double teamers pay and on defense, he will be even better. Despite being 6'10, his wingspan and athleticism will allow him to play center. With Babcock's job on the line, someone who can step in, and contribute immediately seems like the consensus pick. I doubt that Granger will be taken by the Raptors 16th pick simply because there are more teams interested in him. From what I?ve heard, Golden State is the really doing all they can to draft Granger. Charlotte has also been interested in him as well. So Wright seems more realistic in my opinion. And as you said, Wright won?t be so bad. With the way the Raptors have been shooting, having another one with Wright?s upside can?t hurt. I still can?t figure out why everyone still thinks the Knicks want Chris Taft. Even Isiah Thomas was seen holding his head in disgust watching Chris Taft?s pitiful workouts. If Zeke recently started to be disgusted in Tim Thomas after 1.5 years, than you can imagine how disgusted he got just watching Taft for a couple of hours. I think Webster, Wright and Granger are on the top of the Knicks list even though they lack size. Look for them to do something in the offseason about it. I don?t know what the Knicks should do with their 30th pick, you have all of the good players taken before they choose. Hopefully Ronny Turiaff can drop a bit and we can take him there. I just can?t see Isiah taking David Lee.
The Warriors arent taking Frye. If the top ten guarantee is true it would more likely be the Lakers, Orlando, or Charlotte's second lotto pick.

By himself, in a gym, against a team trainer. They had him shotting jumpers from like 15 ft and doing hook shots in the post. He has done nothing yet to hurt himself, or help himself. Chris Taft's first real workout wasnt until Saturday and Sunday. So Isaiah couldnt have been shaking too much, unless he has developed terets all of a sudden?
