    1 - Milwaukee: Andrew Bogut
Take the stand-out big to pair with hopefully a returning Redd

    2 - Atlanta: Marvin Williams

They are reportedly high on him. Grab him, worry about logjams later.

    3 - Portland: Gerald Green
I expect Portland to trade down with NO or Charlotte to take him, but they like Green.

4 - New Orleans: Chris Paul
Highest rated point guard, will they try to trade with the Blazers?

    5 - Charlotte: Deron Williams
Hometown kid is enticing, but Deron is better. Will they try and get Milwaukee's pick to take Marvin?

    6 - Utah: Ray Felton
By default, last of the big three points available.

    7 - Toronto: Danny Granger
With his career on the line, Babcock takes the 'safe' pick here.

8 - New York: Chris Taft
Zeke and Taft seem to be the hot coupling right now.

9 - Golden State: Channing Frye
Rumours Frye has a top 10 guarantee, Golden State makes the most sense.

10 - LA Lakers: Fran Vazquez
10 is too high for Jack, so they go big instead.

    11 - Orlando: Tiago Splitter
Nice pairing with Dwight Howard, probably the most talented guy left on the board.

12 - LA Clippers: Charlie Villanueva
They have talent at every position, Villanueva rounds out their young roster nicely as a talented combo forward.

    13 - Charlotte: Antoine Wright
If they take a point guard with their first pick, Wright is a nice piece to add at the 2/3.

    14 - Minnesota: Hakim Warrick
Jack is another possibility here, but pairing Warrick with KG gives them a nice long frontcourt at both ends.
    -----------------
15 - New Jersey: Joey Graham
With Frye off the board, Graham gives them another athletic wingman to run the floor and an excellent defensive player. Will they go after Reef?

    16 - Toronto: Jarrett Jack
They got their swingman in Granger, they add a very solid point guard who can contribute immediately.

    17 - Indiana: Martell Webster
Best talent available, can afford to bring him along slowly.

    18 - Boston: Johan Petro
With Jack off the board, Boston have no other pressing needs. Can take a chance with the Frenchman.

    19 - Memphis: Sean May
Is Gasol gone? Can Pau play centre? A solid pick for a Memphis frontcourt full of tweeners.

    20 - Denver: Rashad McCants
They need a shooter, so they get the most talented two guard and hope his attitude problems don't flare up again.

    21 - Phoenix: Andrew Bynum
No pressing needs, can take him and let him develop. Lots of potential for a big man who can run the floor and rebound.

    22 - Denver: Andray Blatche
They're deep, so they can afford to take a project with their second pick in the last three.

    23 - Sacramento: Rudy Fernandez
Mobley is opting out and Martin hasn't come along as expected, so Fernandez is a solid pick here.

    24 - Houston: Wayne Simien
Need a four, Simien can step in and play right away.

    25 - Seattle: Ike Diogu
Evans may be priced out of a return to Key Arena, and Diogu just adds another talented piece to their bruising frontline.

    26 - Detroit: Monta Ellis
Seems to be a popular Detroit pick, and they can afford to wait on him. Lack a penetrating scoring guard.

    27 - Utah: Kennedy Winston
Best player available, a nice scoring two guard just to add depth.

28 - San Antonio: Ronny Turiaf
They add a punishing interior player to replace Malik Rose's heart and toughness.

    29 - Miami: Randolph Morris
Nice pick for the Heat, let him learn from the Diesel. No need for him to contribute right away.

30 - New York: Francisco Garcia
Smooth with a lot of heart, a value pick at the end of the first round for the Knicks.

Very nice mock you got here Pwn3d!, I'll actually agree with you on your top seven picks. The Knicks as I mentioned in a different thread aren't so impressed with Chris Taft as of late and actually had Isiah shacking his head in disguse. Golden State is probably blowing smoke about Fyre at this point it's way to early to be a guarantee for the top ten and not even the workouts are done. I believe they are just rumors and should settle down soon. Golden State wants somebody that they can send over seas for a couple of years because right now they really don't need anything which makes perfect sense for Fran Vazquez who you have going right below to the Lakers.

Tiago Splitter's stock has been falling as of late and at 11 seems a bit too high for him. It would make more sense for Orlando to go after either Martell Webster or Antoine Wright to pair one of them up with Stevie Franchise in the backcourt. Even with Frye off the board I still think New Jersey will still go after a big man which is their only true need coming into the draft. A guy like Sean May who is still on the board or guys like Andrew Bynum, or Andray Blatche who will take some time to develop but it looks like New Jersey already can make a playoff push with the team they have now.

Nice mock but I am still waiting for somebody to do the second round though [IMG]

Wait till I get back from Chicago and New York, see the pre draft camp and some workouts, I'll be penning my second round for all to see.

In this draft, the second round will probably be a crapshoot anyway, very hard to pinpoint. A team isn't going to be specifically drafting on need in the second round.

Out of all the member mock drafts, I think this one is the most informed and accurate.

I am almost embarrassed to have Frye at 9 though in hindsight, i temporarily forgot he was a senior so I put in that stuff about a draft guarantee. Who would Golden State be trying to bluff anyway, New York?

I can see Taft slipping too, maybe even down to New Jersey.
