<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Seattle.:</div><div class="quote_post">I wouldn't necessarily say that the Spurs are the most boring team in the NBA. I would say, however, that they are the most frustrating team. Manu flops like a girl and makes some of the most impossible shots (which is aggravating as an opponent) and tends to draw a lot of offensive fouls. Bruce Bowen is thug. He goes out there and hits, grabs, and flops on almost every play and gets away with it the majority of the time. On top of all this the Spurs' superstar is Tim Duncan. The man never shows emotion. When they won the Finals a couple years ago I just remember him saying **** like, "We just came out and played great basketball and it was good enough to get us the win." Come on, you won the fucking finals! Be happy! He also doesn't show emotion on the court. He never gets fired up and excites the fans or his teammates. You never see him screaming as he runs back down the court after a huge dunk. The man needs to get his lobotomy undone.

And no, I'm not just bitter because you guys knocked my Sonics out of the playoffs. I've thought this ever since '03 when the Spurs won the Finals.</div>

See what I mean guys. Whining and crying and making excuses, even from their players and fans. Talk is cheap, the Spurs, just go out there and do their job. What Bowen does is defense, sorry your too biased or just plain don't understand the game, you know those guys in the striped shirts are called refs. Oh, I think Manu has yours hanging. You door knob. [IMG]

they are considered boring cuz' timmy D is a boring but great player. the guy rarely shows any emotion when he posterizes a guy or does something great. he doesnt talk nor yell. that is why this team is considered the most boring. it was atlanta last year!
u guys have manu, tony, and brent. that is an awesome flash and dash 3 guard system u guys use. i love it! i envy u guys.

Timmy DOES have emotion guys, and I'm not talking about the little fist throw he does after a few "and ones". He does let a little bit of emotion slip here and there like that along with his love moment with the ball before tip off, but what I'm really talking about are the eyes. Sounds corny, but trust me, look at his eyes the next game. Then you'll be able to see a wide range of emotion from excitement, joy, anger (you should have seen them glowing when he had that horrible 11pt game in Denver, that was anything BUT boring), confusion, skepticism (at refs, heh) and so on. It's all in the eyes. Not nearly as obvious or flashy as running down the court with your hands in the air and tongue sticking out after a monster dunk but well worth looking for. Trust me.

I think that the Spurs are boring because we are being compaired to the Nuggets and other teams who have players who like to show off their skills and throw ally-oops. The Spurs don't do that because their players stick to the fundamentals. But in the end instead of talking about how boring they are their gonna be talking about how they won the finals. [IMG]

And your not being biased?..If you dont think Duncan is boring and emotionless, Manu flops alot and Bowen isnt dirty then you are very bias. [IMG]

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting J_Ray:</div><div class="quote_post">Hey if you have a problem with the Jazz, wait till they healthy then they can play any way you want to see. They can be a fast pace team , and run with the Suns and play the slow pace with the Spurs, I think Kirilenko is the most enertaining player in the NBA with his blocks from nowhere and Sloan gets player that still have the love for the game, not these athletic freaks who just want money, it's all about the determination.</div>

[IMG] U idnt mean what u said right? Andre is definately not the most entertaining player in the NBA. NOt over Wade, T-Mac, Iverson, or VC. The JAzz are boring because they lose almost every game, they traded their most fan appealing player Carlos Arroyo, why would u watch a jazz game if your not from Utah. It's between the Jazz, the Hawks, and the Hornets.

I meant he's the most enertaining defensive player, he can come from behind anyone and make a block to energize their team. Well you don't know them because they didn't lose almost everygame. they won 1/4 of their games this year without 2 of the big three this year, next year they're gonna make the playoffs and be a contender again. Carlos Arroyo was good, but he wanted to do his own thing, not listen to Jerry Sloan, if you ask me the Hawks are the most boring, even with a Spurs in town, they only get attendance of 8 hundred, please Utah had that many come in within the first 10 minutes the gates open, even with the bad year.

Mehmet Okur did the best out of all of them and you don't know who the third one is. C'mon a true NBA fan knows all the teams star players, except the Hawks cuz they just suk.

Mehmet Okur is a player that has tons of talent, and he actually did better than Boozer this year.

The most boring team in the league is of course, the worst. The Atlanta Hawks. I know they're going to lose, and hell, if they win, I'm surprised most of the time. I know a highlight jam is gonna come from Josh Smith, but other than that, not much else will happen. I think the team will be good in the future, but as of this moment the Hawks are the most boring team in the L. I actually find watching the Spurs quite exciting at times.

The most boring team in the NBA are the detroit pistons. I live in the detroit area, and I've been to Pistons games, and I swear, our crowd must be the quietest out of the good teams. The way the Pistons play just doesn't give much to cheer about. Such boring basketball.

Well after the disaster with the Pacers, Piston's fans better be on their best behavior. I watched last night's game, you have great fans. You guys better finish off the Heat, because I've been waiting all year for this. I was on vacation last year in Cancun and I found myself watching the last 2 games from there. I was pulling for the Pistons all the way. I won't be doing that when you guys play the Spurs. To be the true champion you have to beat the current NBA Champion's. Oh, I hate the Lakers [IMG] Later

Hell no. I would hate if it was the Spurs vs the Pistons in the finals. That would be sooooooooooooooooooo damn boring. And don't be fooled by the playoff fans, all teams who are in the playoffs seem to have great fans. I've been to a few regular season games and they are incredibly boring to sit through, and everybody is quiet, and then a mediocre cheer when somebody scores. It's laborious basketball, not finesse and atheletic basketball.
    Heat all the way.

I don`t find the Spurs boring one bit. Now I can understand why they earn that name as the most boring because of things like no big superstar other than the "boring" Duncan. Ginobli does have the power to knock down almost any shot and can go right to the hole with ease. He can bring so much to a game. The Spurs may just seem slow or boring at times, but they don`t care. They just want to win. And a team that wants to win, is not one bit boring at all.

    playmaker31,
That's what I meant with my comment. Not much offense after Shaq and Wade, that's where their weakness is, He'll play tommorrow night regardless. Then the Spurs will come in a clean up what's left over whoever wins the series, with really only 2 days rest.

Unless you went to a Piston game with headphones I don't get this at all. The Pistons fans are considered the loudest fans in the NBA, along with the Kings. They make alot of noise every game and there's a reason why the Pistons hold the record of selling out games the past 4 seasons. People that find the Pistons and Spurs boring are normally younger fans, people who have been brought up to enjoy And1 streetball, high flying dunks and alley-oops. The way the Pistons and Spurs play the game is how It is supposed to be played. The older fans realise that defense by stopping your man is enjoyable basketball.
