<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Iguodala:</div><div class="quote_post">Yes they are boring but im not sure if the are the most boring team in the nba .. but they are a boring team to watch..imo</div> Yes, Duncan can be boring at times but Isn't it fun watching fundamentally sound basketball? Isn't great to know that fundamentalls still exist? Isn't Tony Parker Exciting? Manu Ginobli? Robert Horry's clutch shooting? I don't know about the rest of you but I find the Spurs plenty exciting.
I am not a big spurs fan but I know basketball pretty well. I dont think anyone that actualy knows the game well and see the spurs do the things they do would think they are boring. Ginobli is one of the most exciting players in the league. And watching Bruce Bowen defend great gaurds like Ray Allen,Vince Carter, or Allen Iverson and make them cry is great. Kobe was asked if he thought Bruce was dirty he said no. Can you say Shaq is cheap in the offensive side? He elbows the crap out of people.
I like Spurs basketball and I hope you guys are the Champs this year. Manu and Parker bring alot ecxitement to the table and I like Big Shot Rob in my hart tho I hate him cause he killed my Sixers in 2001 with his clutchness.
Seattle , What about Antonio Daniels? He mustve picked some of the flopping when he was in SA cause man does he like to hit the floor...and Danny Fortson , do I even have to say anything about him?A 400 pound beast drawing or atleast trying to draw a charge from 200 pound Ginobili and 180 pound Parker , pathetic. Your boy Allen is a cry-baby , he and VC are the only idiots who think Bowen is dirty. Both soft players who cant deal with physical defense...ask the truely great guards like Kobe if they think Bowen is dirty.Ask the coaches who vote for the defensive-teams if he's dirty.Ask anyone other then biased Seattle/NJ fans if he's dirty.I guarantee u 99% of them say no. As far as Timvp not showing any emotion , how did u like the fist pump after the Game 6 game-winner? Back to the Topic: BSPN has always been quite the Spurs haters , Greg Anthony last yr didnt even think SA would get home-court he considered them like the 6th best team...and this yr the idiot actually though Phx could come back from being down 3-0.Stephen A. is all about big market teams and he always calls out Rasho and even recently the idiot called out the Big Dog (right when Glenn's mom had passed away and he wasnt even at the game).Legler has just recently started to give SA their props , but at the begginig of the yr like all of BSPN he was on KG's and Minnesotta's nuts. Their basketball analysts are just plain stupid , sometimes I wonder if theyre being told to say some of the things they say...cause a whole bunch of them are just retarded. How can a team with Ginobili possibly be boring?TNT is the truth , I wish they wouldve done the Western Finals and the Finals for that matter.
Yeah, not to crazy about Stephen A. Smith commentary style but he seems to know his stuff. In short the ESPN guys in the studio suck. TNT studio guys, are better and more entertaining, mainly due to Charles Barkley, he calls them like he see's them. I wish they could just cut him lose he'd be a riot. I guess Big Bill Walton is pretty much ABC's guy, I'm still not crazy about him but at least he's finally giving the Spurs their props. They should put Elliot and Kerr together to see how they would come across but they'd be somewhat biased together as game announcers but they'd be good in the studio together. As Big Bill would say "throw it down big man"!! We'll be seeing some of that for sure, starting tonite, I can't wait!! JT
Steven A. Smith is a hack. I love Sean Elliot's work on the sidelines. He's articulate and sees the game very well, and does a great job of breaking it down for the viewers. Not a big Steve Kerr fan, to me he is a little too, much Capt. Obvious. Charles Barkley is great. Bill Walton is a joke. The only guy I like from ESPN is Mark Jackson. David Aldridge is still one of the best.
"BSPN", good one. I hate those guys, but Hubie Brown is quickly starting to work his way up my s*** commentator list. The guy is obviously a Spurs hater and doesn't even make an effort to hide his bias, ON NATIONAL TV. Not even Sean lets his bias for the Spurs leak out that much (let me get an Amen for Shapecity's comment about his analyst skills), and I sure hope he (Hubie) doesn't do all the games. Seemed like anything the Pistons did right was "a man's play" but everytime the Spurs did something he usually followed it with silence or a "what was that?" Oh well, I gotta admit though that it was anything but boring when the Spurs would pull off a great play and shut him up. Nevertheless, I'd rather have Sean if ABC wants a heavily biased commentator.
