no mike wilkinson no care [IMG]

I'd love to see the Bucks get Gilchrest though. Add him to our backup plans at the point. If T.J is hurt, he's a good developmental backup. If T.J is healthy, Gilchrest turns into trade bait [IMG]

What's killing Chuck Hayes is he's 6'6 and plays power forward. I don't think the rape allegations have a thing to do with it.

Well, I'd love to see Wilk's get drafted as much as the next man, just feel he's more likely to be Summer Leauge material. And, prior to the allegations, I was hearing a LOT of buzz surrounding Hayes from the mouths of the scouts I talked to. The height was what dropped him to the second round. His heart and persona reeled in a lot of league guys. Since the legal issues, a lot of guys crossed him out, however also said, should it all fall off before the draft, and turn out to be false, he'd be worthy of being drafted.

Wow! Are you sure you don't want to reconsider that one? From everything I heard, Korolev has just as good of a chance as anyone to be a first round pick. He's young, athletic, and has actually produced in Europe (despite playing on a Jr. level team). He's a coaches son, I'm sure some NBA coach will fall in love with him. I also think you have Marko Tomas too low. If the Pacers don't pick him, the Grizzlies should show a lot of interest in him. With the seventh highest pay roll in the NBA, they really like the idea of drafting a player who they can keep overseas and won't count against their cap. Another one of your internationals, Ersan Ilyasova (or Arsan Ilyosova) should pull out of the draft if his stock is that low. I know that there are a lot of GM's that are concerned about his age and health, but someone would take a gamble on him before #42, especially over a kid like Lawrence Roberts. I also think it's interesting how you have D'or Fischer on there. Your mock may be the first one I've seen to have him on there (although I try to avoid a lot of mocks like Draftcity).

Pretty solid all around though, good job.

In regards to Korolev aka Mini Kiralenko, my reasons for him dropping out of round one are the numerous reports of him pulling out. He should be in my Round 1 if he stays. Marko Thomas, another guy who I'll hear one guy say, we love him, and another say he might be another Gordon Giricek, which is not someone you throw first round dollars at. Ilyasov also has been quiet as of late, leading me to think he may opt out. D'or Fischer had one work out from what I was told, and measured at a legit 6-11 w/a 7-3 wingspan. He also was consistently hitting from up to 20ft which makes me think the more he gets into workouts, he will remind more guys why 3 years ago, after his NCAA tournament showing when he was with SW Louisiana St, why they thougt he was such a prospect. Me putting him with Detroit, his D would match perfectly with that team and that frontline.

Also guys, dont forget to check my first round mock located on this page. Happy readings!!!!!!!!!

Utah would like to take Ronny Turiaf probably over that guy. Utah also loves Ryan Gomes, they're even considering taking him in the first round.

You know, I highly concidered putting Turiaf in that spot with Utah, however, if Marko Thomas falls out of the first round, the Jazz desperatly need someone who can shoot from the outside, and at 6-7 and one of the most feared outside shooters in all of Europe, he'd be a gem in Sloan's system. Utah's other 2 picks are a crap shoot, and I chose Conroy due to his intense defense, something that outside of Kiralenko, not one Jazz player did much of last season.

I didn't know much about Marko Thomas, but isn't the 3-point line shorter, and when Kirilenko was healthy, he was the whole defense helping his teammates, but with the last pick they should draft Jose Juan Barea, he would be great in their system.
