<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Taft has impressed scouts with his size and athleticism, but his attitude has been called into question. Other players of note heading for Toronto this week include Ray Felton, an extremely quick point guard who was one of the key players in North Carolina's title run. The 6-foot-1 Felton averaged 12.9 points and 6.9 assists and is projected to be a top-10 pick. He will work out on Saturday. The highest-rated college player expected to be in Toronto this week is Illinois junior Deron Williams, a point guard in the mould of New Jersey's Jason Kidd. Williams, expected to be selected in the top five, averaged 12.5 points and 6.8 assists with Illinois. Charlie Villanueva, a standout power forward with Connecticut, will work out on Thursday. The sophomore can play both forward spots and has a nice inside/outside game. He is expected to be a top-15 pick. Also working out for the Raps on Saturday will be point guard Monta Ellis, who played high school ball last season. The Raps have had 6-foot-4 Ellis on their radar screens for months. As they were last year, the Raps are said to be looking for a big man and a point guard. The Raptors have four draft picks in total this season.</div> Source More workout updates.
Why NO DANNY GRANGER!!! And Antoine Wright is worth a look as well... not CHRIS DAMN TAFT AND THOSE OTHER POTENTIAL WASHUPS!! We dont want another Hoffa fiasco happening!!!!
^^werd....but monta ellis is pretty good. But i'm still surprised at no danny granger. if we dont pick him, oh my....i think that every one else in the top 10 except for felton williams, bogut, paul, granger are gonna be busts. Chris Taft included.
My word... if Babcock screws this one up, I'm never going to like Toronto ever again even though I live in Toronto. This franchsie will be dead if we don't make good picks this year... Bosh will get fed up eventually if good decisions aren't made.
Last time I checked, Danny Granger, Sean May, and Martell Webster didn't workout for ANY teams. Guess what's odd. They're all from one agency company,, starts with S... the one Kobe's in,, errr I forgot what it was lol. Here's the workout schedule and I remember someone up there saying there is no Jarrett Jack, but here he is. He apparently worked out yesterday. Saturday, June 4, 2005 - Air Canada Centre Position Name Height School / Club Guard Monta Ellis 6-4 Lanier High School Guard Daniel Ewing 6-1 Duke Guard Ray Felton 6-1 North Carolina Guard Jarrett Jack 6-3 Georgia Tech Guard Nate Robinson 5-10 Washington
Granger worked out for the Clippers, so did Sean May... Why are we not working out Antoine Wright. We are working out some very poor quality men who aren't worthy of 7 and 16 picks... some not even 2nd round worthy. Edit: AND WE AREN'T EVEN WORKING OUT MARTELL WEBSTER!!! WHAT IS BABCOCK DOING!! I SWEAR I CAN DO HIS JOB 10X BETTER... I HOPE HE ALREADY KNOWS WHO HE'S GETTING WITH HIS 7TH PICK WHICH IS WHY HE'S NOT WORKING ANYONE OUT WHO'S WORTHY OF IT!
There was a draftcity article on it,, I don't know if the guy who wrote it is legit or not but he did say those three players did not attend any private workouts. Mr.Wade, remember that just because we didn't bring them in for workouts at ACC it doesn't mean we wouldn't get to take a good look at them. That's what the Chicago Pre-Draft Camp is for. If I'm not mistaken, there will be private workouts done by the player's agent and / or the prospect team and there will also be more workouts at ACC leading up to the week of the draft.

Babcock better not screw up. This is the draft to solidify our core. I don't want our core to be Chris Bosh, Sean May and Monta Ellis.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Banks:</div><div class="quote_post">Well I know Rashad McCantsdid not workout because he felt ill. Babcock better not screw up. He was in wednesday but had to stop half way because of the sickness. He worked out with Julius Hodge. I don't want McCants anymore though.. if what Hodge said is true, he's a wimp. Hodge said something like "When I was hitting shots after shots and Rashad wasn't, he pretended that he wasn't feeling well, and it's too bad for him because he could've shown the scouts what he could really do. I wish I could've gone 1-on-1 with him."
Here's a good news: The reason why Danny Granger didn't work out for Toronto. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Danny Granger healthy, back in workouts. After a period of over a week (after working out with the Clippers and the Warriors), where Granger was forced to pull out of workouts because of an infected toe, Granger is healthy again and recently had a successful workout for the Indiana Pacers. His next hurdle is a private workout on Thursday with Hakim Warrick and two guards, infront of numerous teams. This workout, in Chicago but not at the Moody Bible Institute, could go a long ways in making up for the ground he lost during the time he missed. Despite not being able to participate in recent workouts, DraftCity believes that Granger's NCAA career speaks for itself and sees his range in the draft being between 7-18. Granger is in great shape still because of the fact that there are so many teams in that range who are in a need of a proven wing player of his caliber.</div> http://www.draftcity.com/viewarticle.php?a=197
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Got DWade?:</div><div class="quote_post">^ Ah makes sense, maybe babs isn't as big a retard as we make him out </div> His track record as a GM so far proves otherwise. Either way, I just hope he doesn't screw up with our picks again. Deron Williams is out of reach; he refused to work out with us which would mean he has a top six guarantee. In that case, either Felton or Granger would be the best choices.
