You guys know any NBA players and what type of music or songs they listen too? I know michael jordan just listened to the CHicago Warm up Mix..that one intro song. But thats it. Shaq listens to some hard core rap.
I heard many rappers listen to classical music to calm them down and help them relax before a big stressing game, others listen to rap to get into a im'a beat yo ass up mood
I think they listen to all kinds of music. It really depends on what player you're dealing with. For example, Yao Ming probably listens to the Beach Boys or something, or maybe something more to the likes of instrumentals to get him focused. ?The NBA on NBC? theme is a good choice to get you focused. A player like Rasheed Wallace on the other hand probably listens to some sort of rap. Something that makes him feels as if it's him against the world. And the way he taunts the fans on the road I'm sure he listens to something similar.
Ones that I know of: Rasheed Wallace: TuPac (Hit 'Em Up? ), Nas. Vince Carter: Nelly, P'Diddy Classics, Lil' Bow Wow. Shaq: Gangstar Rap (Pump up song: Hate Me Now - Nas Ft. P'Diddy). The rest, I have no clue.
Yeah, in the 2001 All Star game, he left the All Star Charity Party to go get his autograph. No jokes.
What the hell...that's messed up. I bet Bow Wow felt sorry for VC so he invited him to be in "Like Mike".

Shaq probably listens to his own horrendous music, or listens to Skills disses against him..lmao. "you could shoot 99 free throws and u wont hit 1, hit me!" Skillz murdered Shaq...Anybody else hear the diss tracks?..Here are a couple dope lines he killed Shaq with lol. "your eye gives me the creeps, matter fact it dont even look lazy, dog its goin to sleep" "i killed ur rap career, as if u ever had one" "u made 5 hip hop albums, i dont know another ***** dat can name one" "and wen u see me, u should treat me like ur lazy eye and keep goin the other way" "the only thing thats worst then ur rappin dog, is ur actin career, and ur movies was ewww..i make a porno wit magic before i go make kazaam or steel" "its nothin for me to drop u quicker den reebook did" "i got a 100 dollars....im goin to kmart and cop 1000 pairs of ur shoes"
I know that Shane Battier is a big Jimi Hendrix fan, as is Brian Cardinal. Great taste! As for Bow Wow, did anyone see Louis Williams and Mike Mercer (HS basketball players) on his episode of MTV cribs?
All I know is that Jamal Crawford listens to Tupac and Jay-Z. Tim Thomas listens to rap and even said if he didn't make it into the league, he would have been a rapper.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting MrJ:</div><div class="quote_post">All I know is that Jamal Crawford listens to Tupac and Jay-Z. But to see Crawford in Bleek's "like that" video. And Tim Thomas in Young Buck/Tony Yayo's "bonafide Hustler" video while the season was in full swing, it tells you where these cats heads is at. At least Steph does his video appereances during the offseason like that old Fab video and that Terror Squad "take me home" video last summer. If they added Jalen Rose like everyone said they was last year, the Knicks would lead the league in rap video cameo(actually they probably already do) Time for the Knicks to turn off the music videos and pop in a few of those Magic Johnson instructional videos they promote on NBATV, cause them cats got alot of work to do.
