Amare is a great player, but just because he did great in the playoffs one year doesn't make him better than seasoned vets and perennial greats like Duncan, Garnett, Dirk etc.

Just like everyone has already said basically... I just wanna end on a ludicrous quote from my friend.

"Amare is already better than Hakeem Olajuwon ever was."

Amare is like hakeem but amare isnt better than hakeem ever was. Amare is Hakeem but hakeem had those cat quick moves that killed robinson in that one playoff series.

Dude, please I'm begging you, go watch some Hakeem videos in his prime before saying Amare IS LIKE Hakeem. It's laughable.

 

LMAO how dare you compare him with Hakeem? Hakeem in his prime even owned young Shaq.

 

i cant beleive this man... i mean, i like Amare alot....-->BUT<-- im not sure if he will ever be the defensive force that Hakeem once was(even tho he had that block on Duncan to seel game 4)
