Hey guys, as a Rockets fan, I wanted to know a Heat's fan view about Haslem.

The Rockets have a hole in their PF position, and Haslem would be a great fit theew. He is also a free agent so he could be picked up by another team. What do you guys think about Haslem leaving? Also, if the Heat were thinking of doing a sign and trade, what players from the rockets could interest the heat?

I love Udonis and I really like what he brings to the table. He would fit good in H-Town but I don't think it's going to happen. I think he won't be the type of guy who goes out and asks for more money. Even with having to work out Shaq's extension because he has stated that he wants to stay. I think Haslem will re-sign fir as much money as possible. He could be a star in the league with his rebounding ability, and playing around Shaq has really helped him a lot. If he keeps developing his mid range jump shot he is going to be a great player.

The Heat can match any offer up to the MLE, so unless the Hawks come in and offer Haslem say 6 or 7 million a year I doubt he leaves. Even if the Hawks do try and overpay for his services, he may turn down the big deal to stay in Miami. Just under 5 million to play for a contender or 6 million to play for a rebuilding team hmmm...

So basically unless a team has cap room, they aren't getting Haslem.

Why would he want to play for Houston? The Heat can match any offer that Houston gives him. He has Shaq, who makes life a lot easier in the paint that Yao does, and Miami (a healthy one or not) is a better team than Houston. It doesn't make sense for him to goto Houston. Unless the Nets or Hawks give him a 6 year 60 million dollar contract or something crazy, I don't see him leaving Miami.

I don't think haslem will leave cuz of the fact that with shaq and d wade, the heat will be a title contender until shaq retires. Haslem has all of the goods needed to be a great power forward and shaw really complements himcuz of the pressure he takes away from him. Also i dont think that Halsem would want to leave the type of scenario he is in. He is in a great city, which he was born in and grew up in and i dont thin he would want to go to a team that has no chance of being a title contender for years to come even if they offer him a ridiculous amount of money to play somewhere else.

I don?t know any other place where Haslem would want to go to. He?s getting pretty decent minutes on an elite-level team. Miami also was the one who saw his talent and signed him after he wasn?t drafted and the organizations done a lot for him. I don?t know why he would consider leaving Miami. It just seems like the best place for him and I don?t see a better place to play for him.

    Yep
If he stays with Miami and stays loyal for this organization, this guy will be fans' favorite. Who knows, he might not become a superstar in this league, but after 10 years or so, he might have his retire ceremony like other super stars.

Udonis is a 6'8 player playing with a 7'2 players mentality. He leaves it on he floor every night for the Heat. I can't see him leaving especially with the success of the Heat this year. He fits his position perfectly with them.
