<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Blatche will work out for three NBA teams prior to the NBA's pre-draft camp in Chicago, which runs June 7-11. In addition to Toronto, he will be with the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday and the Charlotte Bobcats on Monday.

After the Chicago camp, Blatche will visit two more eastern teams and then head west for two or three more workouts.

"He'll end up with somewhere in the range of seven or eight workouts," Fleisher said.

Blatche's draft stock appears to be on the rise. One NBA scout said he would be among the top 20 players picked.

The workouts could solidify Blatche's position or lift him even higher. Usually, the workouts focus on players performing drills. Most teams try to bring in two to four players, sometimes pairing two perimeter players and two post players together.

The sessions should accentuate Blatche's strengths - his length, his agility, his ball-handling ability and his soft shooting touch. His youth and relative inexperience as a high schooler will affect how the teams judge him in the workouts.

"I think they'll watch his skill level and check him out physically," said a second NBA scout. "They'll try to get an idea of just where his body is and see how he can grow and develop. They'll try to measure his competitiveness. He'll be brought in with some other guys. They'll let him go against them and see how he goes against college guys."

Added the first scout: "One thing they'll look for is a kid's maturity level. That can be hard to gauge in a workout or a two-hour encounter with a kid, but you try your best to see what kind of kid he is." </div>
