From what I've read, Taylor is lining up all over the place and doing many things. It appears that he is enjoying his role as a major disruptor. I feel sorry for Shanahan trying to game plan for the opener. No! I don't! Vernon Carey is doing well @ LT and has been holding his own against Taylor. That is whenever JT lines up @ RDE. Zach has changed his off season training regimen. Less Weightlifting. More Cardio, core, & flexibility. He may actually be healthy the whole season. All players are raving about the changes, teaching methods, philosophies, & character of Linehan & Houck. 2005 will be a transitional season for the Dolphins. I still say 7-9. 2006 & beyond look bright.
7-9 will be tough especially if they have one of the toughest schedules in football. I think it is possible but it's going to be tough.
to go 7-9 they need a good QB. They lost a lot of good defensive players i think more like 6-10 because Feely isnt that good
While I'm not sold on Feeley, I haven't given up on him either. He was brought in by Spielman and Wannstedt never gave him a vote of confidence. Feeley did show some improvement toward the end of the season. I'm not sure he's going to get a fair shake this season either. Frerotte seems to be Linehan's man. However, the Dolphins made the playoffs twice with Jay Feeble so the Phins may surprise some folks this year.
I think if Miami can pick up a Matt Leinart or Omar Jacobs in the draft they will have a young solid team to roll with.
Miami needs to draft Chris Leak because the browns are gonna draft #1 and get leinhart. Leak has so so so many skills. He is gonna do great this year. If they got him, and some other defensive players through free agency they could be back to the playoffs in 2 years
Leak is nothing special. He played in an offense that throws. He is only 6 ft tall which is very small. Scouts were complaining about Aaron Rodgers only being 6-2. I think Leak is going to have to have a nice year and he should stay another year. Right now Porky's Top 3 QB's for next year are Matt Leinart USC Sr. Omar Jacobs Bowling Green Jr. (RS) Brodie Croyle Alabama Sr. (RS) Based on the fact that I think Leak will end up staying for a senior season. Same with Vince Young.

He has coached against him & as I understand it Saban & Ferentz are buddies.

To paraphrase the Beatles, "...All I am saying is give Rosenfels a chance." He could be the gem & he's hidden in plain sight. Maybe just maybe, Miami never should have let the son of Bob go.

But, this is exactly what I was aiming for. I don't believe in spending a 1st rounder on a QB. 2nd or 3rd for Tate, if he comes out, would be just fine.
Yea I agree. The only QB's I would use with a first rnd pick are Leinart a SR. and Omar Jacobs a Jr. who I think will probably leave. Brodie Croyle is a 2nd rnd pick and maybe higher if he can bounce back after injury.
