Players attending are Nate Robinson, Washington; Travis Dierner, Marquette; Chris Thomas, Notre Dame; and Anthony Roberson, Florida.

It will be the Jazz's fifth group of workouts this year. Workouts will be suspended next week as the team travels to scout the Chicago Pre-Draft Camp. Check back with utahjazz.com for a recap of Friday's workout, and updates next week.</div>

Travis Dierner should be interesting. From what I seen of him in college, he might turn out to be a decent pro. I wouldn't waste a first round pick on him because of his injury he had his senior year in college, but if he was around for one of our second round picks, I would take him. He seems to me that he may become a "Steve Kerr" type player; could play either guard position, but can shoot the lights out at either position.

He could be good if he's there with the last pick of the draft, most mock drafts don't have him even being drafted, his cousin is out there too, and i think his cousin Drake is better.

    Pre-Draft Workouts: Day Five

In the final workout before next week's Chicago Pre-Draft Camp, the Jazz brought in four of college basketball's most accomplished point guards. Between them are a Final Four appearance, a top seed in the NCAA Tournament, hundreds of wins and a handful of All-Conference nods.

Players at the Zions Bank Basketball Center today were Travis Diener, Marquette; Anthony Roberson, Florida; Chris Thomas, Notre Dame; and and Nate Robinson, Washington. Special nod goes to KJZZ's Chris Harris, who assisted greatly in today's report.

"You know what's interesting, and I think is important," noted Jazz VP Kevin O'Connor, "is that all these kids, we're going to have to shoo them out of here to go upstairs and get changed. These are kids that have played about 500 games of college basketball, and they've picked up coaching really well too. We had them do a little more intricate stuff, and they picked it up pretty good."

"There's guys who come in the gym to play basketball, and there's guys that come into the gym who live there. We were very impressed with 1. personalities, you want a personality in your point and 2. the ability to pick up some of the things that we try to do."

Marquette guard spurned the University of Utah but wouldn't mind the Jazz

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Travis Diener nearly came to Utah four years ago.
He wouldn't mind a second chance at making the move from Wisconsin to Salt Lake City.
As a senior point guard at Goodrich High School in Fond du Lac, Diener was heavily recruited by former University of Utah coach Rick Majerus.
"I'm sure I would have come if it wasn't so far away," Diener said. "I love Coach Majerus and everything he stands for. . . . It was just too far from home to come way out here."
Diener ended up playing at Marquette University, a 90-minute drive south of his hometown.
At Marquette, Diener become one of the most productive players in the history of a storied basketball program.
As a sophomore, he teamed with current Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade and helped lead Marquette to the Final Four. </div>
