<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Travis Diener nearly came to Utah four years ago. He wouldn't mind a second chance at making the move from Wisconsin to Salt Lake City. As a senior point guard at Goodrich High School in Fond du Lac, Diener was heavily recruited by former University of Utah coach Rick Majerus. "I'm sure I would have come if it wasn't so far away," Diener said. "I love Coach Majerus and everything he stands for. . . . It was just too far from home to come way out here." Diener ended up playing at Marquette University, a 90-minute drive south of his hometown. At Marquette, Diener become one of the most productive players in the history of a storied basketball program. As a sophomore, he teamed with current Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade and helped lead Marquette to the Final Four. Last season, Diener averaged 19.7 points and seven assists before missing the Golden Eagles' last five games with a hand injury. On Friday morning at the Jazz's practice facility, Diener joined Washington's Nate Robinson, Notre Dame's Chris Thomas and Florida's Anthony Roberson in a pre-draft workout. All four players are point guards. </div> Source
Travis Diener is going to be a good solid player at PG in the NBA. I think Utah should draft Diener, and Nate "The Great" Robinson too. Then if they just release Lopez, they'll be young, but good in the future. Robinson is pure energy, he said to he wouldn't leave the gym until they promised to pick him with the 6th pick. LOL Now that guy has spirit and if he's there with the 34th pick I would pick him.
Oh my, a player that actually wants to play in Utah, I love him already. I get him confused with his cousin though, I knew I saw one of dem play n saw they wre good, but don't remember who.
