<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">MIAMI -- The last time an O'Neal called out Ben Wallace, bad things happened to the O'Neal team. But this time it's a bigger, meaner O'Neal doing the taunting, one who can back up what he says. Shaquille O'Neal continued his disparagement of Wallace after the Heat practiced Friday at American Airlines Arena in preparation for tonight's Game 6 of the Eastern Conference finals. O'Neal shook off Wallace and Elden Campbell to shoot 7-for-10 from the field for 15 points in the first half of Thursday's Game 5, which Miami won, 88-76. Afterward, O'Neal challenged Wallace to do a better job on him. "My thing is, if you're the defensive player of the year, show me," O'Neal said. "Show me. That's my thing." Asked Friday how he has been successful against Detroit -- he has averaged 18.6 points in the series -- O'Neal followed up with another salvo. "I'm the Diesel," he said. "I'm just being me. You guys are the ones that vote for defensive player of the year and the (bleep) awards that you all be handing out."</div> Source
Also remember Shaq is also very motivated becuase he got beat by Detroit last year and he wants to send a message to San Antonio that he means business
Damn, Shaq is 85 pounds n 4 inches taller den Ben Wallace, neva knew dat Go Benny, swat him, make him cry, make him run up n down the court
yea.. it's very unusual to find out that Big Ben is only 6'9" and plays C. But at times I think Wallace is overhyped! He's just a better shot blocker than Rodman! Rodman used to grab 10+ boards every night out and he was a very tough 1-1 defender. Only difference between the two is that Wallace is a better shot blocker.
