psst...shaq finished with as many blocks as Ben, and Shaq has destroyed Ben consistently this year and last. SHA-QUILLE [IMG]

and psst...probably shouldnt brag since the player that has destroyed your team most didnt suit up.

You're comments are dumb and uneducated. The Pistons shot 8 less free throws than the heat in game 3, the game you complained and complained and cried over the supposed fact that the Heat were being helped by the refs and that was the only reason they won. Fans like you are lame.

arice's entire post was a bunch of hot air. He is obviously heavily biased towards his team and prefers to believe things in his head rather than reality.

To say that the Piston's destroyed Shaq last year in the playoffs is ...
To say that Wade is the NBA's poster boy... LBJ is the NBA's poster boy, Wade has worked hard to get his respect. For the past two years he has lead his team into the playoffs, he plays hard on both ends of the floor and has carried the load while Shaq has been injured.
Miami got 54 free throws one night... Detroit got 46 the other night, yet apparently Miami is only getting calls???

If Detroit wins with both Shaq and Wade injured, good for them. Detriot has played hard throughout the series, but the Heat aren't the same team without their superheroes being healthy.

Wow I just saw this post and here are my thoughts.

Rasheed Wallace has done nothing but cry this entire series every single time he hears a whistle. Whenever there is a foul Rasheed gets that same look on his face and starts yelling. Then he just keeps talking and whining and gets a technical. So before you start talking about the refs sucking maybe you should look at Rasheed who made some pretty obvious fouls, whined about the call and then gets hit with a technical. I haven't seen Wallace just hand the ball to the ref and walk down court after any call that was made. He is always running over to them and whining about it. So that is why we have been calling Sheed a crybaby.

Next, Alonzo left the Raptors because there are a lot of players that aren't happy there. When Alonzo was traded there, they had no shot at the playoffs and there were a lot of rumors going around that several players weren't happy with the managment. Why would Zo want to go to a team with these problems when he is getting older and the only thing he wants is a championship? That is why he went to Miami. Rod Strickland did it last year when he was with the Magic. Jim Jackson did it this year when he was traded to the Hornets. Don't make it sound like he is the first player ever to do this and that he is a terrible guy for signing with another team.

As far as Shaq goes, he may not be as athletic as other players but he is still a great player. He knows how to use his body in the post and can beat defenders over and over again with different moves. If you think he sucks so bad then why has he scored more then 20 points in every game this series? He must be doing something right if he is putting up those kinds of numbers against the Defensive Player Of The Year, Ben Wallace.

Alright about Dwyane Wade. I have never seen him put on a dumb look when he bicks a shot. Oh wait, maybe that's because he has been sinking everything against the Pistons this series and has been scoring at will against the "best defense in the NBA". He is a smart player and knows how to dissect through a defense and can score in a variety of ways.

The calls in Games 1-3 might have been bad for the Pistons. However, I think that the refs pretty much handed the game to the Pistons last night with their calls (or lack of for the Heat). Hopefully the refs will just let the players determine the outcome of Game 7 and it will be a great game.

I think Detroit is a good team and I couldn't have asked for a better Eastern Conference Finals matchup. This has been a very heated series and I can't wait until Game 7.

BTW, Shaq is 3-0 in Game 7's so hopefully we can increase it to 4-0. [IMG]

Skip to my lou, if you read my previous post you wouldve noticed I said that when I said shaq was destroyed, his team was. 5 Game sweep. If you dont think the officials have favored Miami you must be on crack. Wade is the NBA's latest and greatest until the LeBron makes the playoffs. "People magazines 50 most beautiful people."

Swish, Rasheed has always been that wya, and I'm sure I wouldnt like him as much as I do if he were on Miami. I would probably hate him. But, it pisses me off that Wade is regarded as such a "great team player" while Sheed is thought of as a thug, but you see Wade doing that same kind of bullshit. He exaggerates contact all the time. Dont make an excuse for Alonzo, you know he pulled **** on the Nets and the Raptors so he could get back with The Heat. The whole demanding trade thing is annoying when it comes to the NBA. And I know no one can defend Shaq, but I dont like to hear that fat ass saying that Ben Wallace has to prove his defense. Maybe if Shaq wasnt obese and a few inches taller than Wallace, Ben would play him better. Dwayne Wade puts on that stupid look every play he doesnt get what he wants, which is quite often. I noticed that you put best defense in the NBA in quotes, as if the Pistons dont have it. It is close between them and the Spurs, but apparently you think its some kind of garbage just like how Detroit won the series. Are you kidding about the last game? The heat lost purely because wade was out, not because the refs favored the pistons.

And finally, Iguodala. Im surprised you can spell that, you must have his jersey. I'm not jelouse of shaq. Hes an amazing player, the most dominating of all time, I'm just tired of hearing about it. Its not talent, its size.

there alot of people that have been close to as big as shaq and been no one's. To say that shaq has no skill or talent or any of that is far off. Next....

I just dont beleive it takes skill to stand under the hoop and back people that weigh significantly less than you up until you can lay it in because its around 3 feet above you. I mean, explain how thats skill.

Shaq is definitely a great player and deserves the respect of winning 3 titles. He is no longer dominating, but he was still an impact for the Heat despite not being 100%. If Shaq was fully healthy or Wade, this series could have easily swung the other way in Miami's.

Not to take anything away from the Pistons, they showed they were no fluke Champion and closed the series out by being better in the 4th quarter. Their defense was amazing in the last quarter and completely shutdown the Heat, plus they hit clutch free throws, which the Heat couldn't do.

Shaq's strength is obviously his size, but unlike a lot other huge players, Shaq has the talent to use his size to max. He understands how to use leverage and has decent footwork for a player his size. He is one of the most dominating players because he can put the two together. Unfortunately for him, he's on the decline, long past his prime, and no longer as dominant.

Ummmm....ok whatever you say. I didnt see anything ridiculous in saying that neither team can complain about the refs since they both had plenty and about equal # foul shots each over the coarse of the series. I didnt see anything wrong with saying that Shaq didnt infact get "destroyed" since he put up very quality minutes while battling an injury, like he's been doing the whole playoffs. But hey, you can think whatever you want, just from you post it looks like you could use and "S" on the back end of your name.

Again i say the Pistons won and thats that, was a close series and i wish them luck vs the Spurs. But the people constantly posting up **** about Shaq and Wade like the donut thread in another forum get on my nerves.

    Pistons Fans,
Wow I wonder how many of you turned out like this, talking bout Shaq, Here is your ring:Donut?, Instead of respecting the heat for going into game 7 you decide to make fun of half of the players from the Miami Heat, but I see lots of you have respect for Dwyane Wade which is good because he didnt say anything all year, but saying Shaq doesn't have talent is crude.
He is very aggressive and is one of the most dominant men in the history of the NBA, hes very aggressive and he plays with energy and he helped Miami improve they're season by 17 games. He never said anything bad about the Pistons and I have lost respect for the fans since the beggining of the year? You throw cups at Artest, you throw a coin at AI, you a spill a drink on an innocent Heat Fan, You Bomb Threat the Pacers twice. Im not trolling or anything and I'm not saying Pistons fans are dumb or anything but a lot of them need self-control.

I don't think I have much of a say in this (being a Bulls fan), but this comment really bothered me. To say that Wallace and Wade act the same on the court is downright stupid. Rasheed got as many Technical Fouls this postseason (8) as Wade did the whole season. Rasheed had a total of 35 (playoffs included). Rasheed led the league in Technicals. Rasheed whines to reporters about not getting calls while Wade makes faces. This is not the same actions. I am sorry that I posted this, but that post really bothered me.

well said and you have a valid point. Some people do need to settle down and respect people more, and respect the game. But its the minority that ruin the image of the majority. Still that Pistons minority causes more problems than all the other teams combined.
