<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) -- A 42-year-old man was arrested during the first half of the Pistons-Heat NBA playoff game Saturday night after a bomb threat was called in at The Palace of Auburn Hills. The threat was made at 6:12 p.m., about two hours before tipoff, with the caller claiming a bomb would go off if the game was played. Policed said new security measures implemented after similar incidents earlier in the season were instrumental in identifying the suspect, who was arrested after being interviewed by the FBI and the Auburn Hills police department. The suspect, from Lapeer, Mich., was not identified by name. Police said he was being held at the Oakland County jail. ``Matters of this type are taken very seriously, and the suspect will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law,'' Auburn Hills police lieutenant Thom Hardesty said.</div> <div align="center">Full Story</div>
Why is it always Pistons fan? That's sad. They root for a team that cries every night and they act stupid as well.

The Pistons fans still have that championship, something Heat fans have never experienced. Some of the Heat fans are far too arrogant for my liking, been alot of disrespecting going on around here. Mainly when it comes to Rasheed Wallace. I remembered last year where the Nets fans who had won two straight eastern conference finals were very humble on winning and defeat. Indiana fans were also quite sporting all the way through the series and they hate the Pistons with a passion. Lakers fans were cocky but at the same time were respectful to the Pistons and how they played the game. Something certain Heat fans aren't about. They must get their arrogance from Shaq and Zo I guess.
Agreed. Heat bandwagon fans are real offensive and annoying. I dont remember this many Heat fans on the internet last year ... And I wouldn't call Miami and Detroit rivals yet, since this is the first time that they've met since Shaq arrived (totally different team now). I dont think the Heat need to "do anything" to be in a rivalry though, Sacramento never "did anything" but i still think that they were rivals with the Lakers.

Hmm..That's new to me.

No true fan of the Pistons would start a bomb threat to stop the game from happening. Just like the previous one that was called in. Which I don't even think was a Piston fan either.

Some of the Laker fans were that way last year but most of them atleast tried to look at it from another perspective. The majority of Heat fans are stuck in that invinceable mindstate when they haven't won jack yet. Case in point: <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> Why is it always Pistons fan? That's sad. Not only do I see a lot of Heat fans, but also a lot of North Carolina fans who never post in the college forum and never went to UNC in the first place. Odds are that if you're teams now are Miami and North Carolina, then a few years ago they were the Lakers and Duke, and a few years before that they were the Bulls and Michigan State. And unless anyone objects, I'm changing the title of this thread to "Bomb Threat Called In", simply because, like Allnet said, it probably wasn't a Pistons fan.

Ask S. Livingston or Courtking. I have been a Heel fan before there was a college forum on JBB. Me and Livingston were always pushing for a UNC section but the Admins always said no. As far as me liking the Heat, I don't like them as much as the Magic but I have grown to like Wade and have started watching the Heat games. I wouldn't say I'm a die hard Heat fan but I root for them all the time and watch their games.
