Detroit was faced with a must win, and they won. They showed up and were ready to play. Ben Wallace was spectacular and really gave them a boost early. However, they will have to win game 4, because if ont the series is definately over.

What a series, Pistons tie this thing up at 2-2

Another blowout win, which has been the case for every game in this series. I'm sure we will see a close game sooner or later. Spurs look really rattled and has no answer for the Pistons defense or even the offense. 7 players in double fiqures. Hunter is known as a great defense but poured in 17 points, he basically outscored Tim Duncan that summed It up for the Spurs.

After a 31 point blowout It's hard to see the Spurs responsing and winning game 5. They really needed a close loss just to give them some confidence.

This series now becomes a best of 3. As I expected we have got ourselves a tight series.

31 points? That's crazy. If someone woulda told me that Pistons woulda ran up 102 points, let alone beat them by 31 points at the beginning of the game, I would smacked them silly. This series is over. Pistons will win in 6. To quote John Salley, Tim Duncan "looked like a catholic school boy who got in trouble with his father" at the end of that game. They got no more heart left. Same thing that happend last year with the lakers will happen to the spurs again this year. Sorry, but if you lose by 31 points in a playoff series, the other team has you completely figured out, and your done for. Can't wait till Sunday when Pistons will finally have their first lead in this series.

I never would have imagined the Spurs getting beat like they did, but with that being said they are the Spurs and I think they will adjust to the Pistons before it is to late. They have to figure out how to be more efficient on offense though, this team is not the same team we saw play in San Antonio. I don't know what is up with the Spurs but they better get back into their rhythm or their season will be over and not the way they would like it to end. It doesn't make sense at all when you look at it; Detroit looked the same way when they played in San Antonio, as the Spurs do know as they play in Detroit. But one thing I do notice is, it has never took San Antonio two games to adjust before.

Personally I'm rooting for Detroit, however a lot of people are now writing off the Spurs. Gregg Popovich is going to make some changes, and motivate his guys, the Spurs could easily take this game.

The Spurs took it but not easily. Glad they're going back home to win the NBA championship for the 3rd time.

Why Sheed..Why would you double team manu in the corner and leave Horry open..
Why Rip..why did you force that shot up..did you not see Tayshaun WIDE open under the basket?

Game was a classic..I'm extremely dissapointed. Left me askin my self "Why" for the rest of the night. Pistons can't hang their heads though and I know they won't. They have Championship composer. If they lose game 6, they'll put up a fight, I guarantee they won't go down like some chumps.

Was certainly a great game where Robert Horry was HUGE in the 4th and OT but facts remain the Pistons choked in OT, they had the game won but poor offensive decisions and poor defense on the last play cost them. Rasheed Wallace is why Robert Horry hit that shot, no one else's fault but his on that final play.

Pistons have alot of heart so I don't think they will give up without a fight in game 6 but the chances of them winning twice in S.A is VERY unlikely. I expect Spurs to close It out tonight.

But hey we got what we all wanted. a very close hard fought finals series. Something we havn't really had for quite a while. Where the match-ups are very even.

I dont think it will be close in game 6. The Spurs are totaly a different team at home. WIth the best home court record. I think their bench will be alot better and everyone will play alot more effecient.

The Pistons did what they had to do, and they took a big step forward as they beat San Antonio on their own court. You can make an argument that the Pistons have took the series momentum right back, and after 11 years fans finally get to watch a seven game finals, I can't wait to see the Pistons and Spurs duke it out in game seven. This is what all of us have been waiting for. In game six the Pistons made plays down the stretch that they didn't make in game five.

Game 7..Finally. Real glad that the Pistons could get this win. Roscoe stepped up big on the 4th quarter..he owed it to the city of Detorit too. Billups showin why he's gonna get his 2nd consecutive Finals MVP. Hamilton played great. Dyce didn't give us a very good game, but Pistons still won by 9 on the road, that has to give them a great deal of confidence. Lindsay did hit 2 big buckets in the 4th though, but that's pretty much some of the only bench play we got offensively. I don't think Ben played a very great game either. Only 6 rebounds if I'm correct. I mean the defensive intensity was there, but he needs to grab rebounds. The leading rebounder for the Pistons can't be Tay with 7. Speakin of Tay, he needs to step his game up too. I don't think he gave that solid of an effort today. With all that said, Pistons still took it. Can't wait till thursday.

    Game 7

    WOW

I honestly didn't expect the Pistons to pull It out after what happened in game 5 and the recent home in S.A didn't favour them but the Pistons showed amazing heart and will to take game 6. Should learn by now never to doubt the Pistons. They are tough as nails as Chauncey puts It.

A game 7 is suited for the season and the way this series has gone. The two best teams in the NBA fighting for a championship in a one off game. Lets hope It is a good one and the NBA season finishes with a great game.

what a series this was, the Pistons just came up short in game 7. Some bad mistakes offensively by Rip and illadvised passes cost the Pistons. Spurs defense has alot to do with that that. Was a great series to watch though. I couldn't be more proud.

Still a great season for the Pistons, going to 7 games against the champions. Alot of plus's in this season and I'm sure Joe is going to make adjustments to be in this position again next year but win that 1 extra game to get the title back to Detroit.
