I hope Phil comes back. It would be a huge help to the Lakers especially Kobe even though he probably won't admit. I like Kobe and I think Phil is the best coach for him and This coaching move will help the Lakers get to the next level.
I doubt Phil will come back, I just can't see it and I doubt that any of you lot can. Even if he does come back, we won't win a championship next season. I fear that people are getting their hopes up for no reason.
I don't think they will win a championship next season but their team will improve in record and make the playoffs.
Interesting, assuming he comes back this adds to the drama in the pass year for the Lakers. Even though the hiring of Jackson will probably reestablish the Lakers in the West you have to admit how wild things are going with all the transactions. Hopefully the Lakers can stable their situation and come back next season a better and more competitive team.
I like Phil coming back. Honestly, I think he knows he went too far in his book taking shots a Kobe. I think he has sympathy for Kobe, giving his young age, and all the turmoil he's went through in the previous years. I think Phil sees Kobe's potential to possible be the BEST EVER. I believe that's part of the reason Phil would give the Lakers a second chance. Also, can't forget his girlfriend is the boss's daughter. All in all, it's very good look for the Lakers and Phil. If the Lakers keep Odom, to me, they will have that sorta Jordan and Pippen thing with Kobe. The main problem with the Lakers I saw this year, was no organization in the offense. Odom didn't get the ball in the right places, and Kobe and Odom never really had a chance to develop chemistry. But given the right coach, and offense, Kobe and Odom are DEADLY. Don't forget, I haven't even mentioned Caron Butler.
