well, just a question. i was bored and i decided to look up his name on nba.com. what i found shocked me. it said he averaged 13 pts and 8 rebounds for the season. now, i know it says he only played 2 games, but stats like this is still very impressive. i just want to know what you all think of him.

Maybe its because all he's been doing is playing in meaningless and defenseless garbage time minutes when the Wolves have practically blown out the other team.

That's not really the case. The first game which he scored 18 and grabbed 8, was against the Spurs, where they did blow them out. However, he did play 28 minutes, and he did play a considerable amount of minutes in the first half (taking some of Wally's minutes) while being productive.

Against the Hornets, that game was far from a blowout, as it was very close throughout. He played 26 minutes and grabbed 8 while scoring 9. Given it's against the Hornets, but those are still pretty good numbers for a player who has not played the whole season (in only 26 minutes).

I think he can be a solid player in the NBA. He's shown in the last 2 games of the season that he can ball. If he continutes to work on his game, and is given minutes, he'll be a very solid player in the NBA, and a valuable one because of his size and versatility.

Another one of Houston's Finest. Well maybe. That is if he gets more playing time.

He has only played 19 Games in 2 years with a total of 86 Minutes. Hes got the potential but he needs more minutes in more games before we know how good really he is.

As mentioned, he actually got a decent amount of playing time against the Spurs, and he performed well. Both of the times he got to play he performed pretty well, hence his 13 point average. If the Wolves want him to be able to play next season, its up to the coaching staff, McHale and KG to help get the guy ready to play, and I do think he can do it.

The scoreboard didnt really indicate how meaningless those two games were in my opinion. I watched both of those games. And the Wolves played by a method of play the starters the 1&3 quarters. And let the young guys (Ebi) & role players Anthony Carter etc. play the 2nd & 4th quarters. They were just playing the season out, so were the Spurs. The Spurs already knew they could finish no higher then 2nd and couldnt drop in the standings.

The only thing postive really was the play against the Hornets, while New Orleans stinks, they played all their young guys heavy minutes JR Smith, Anderson etc...so Ebi got to show off what he could do against players in his similar peer group. But the #'s he put up in the last two games, I honestly wouldnt put to much into it.

Yeah I'm aware of that, but 18 and 8 against a team with a defense team like the Spurs in the minutes he got is impressive still. It's a good sign to see someone who hasn't play in a regular season game score 18 and 8 regardless of the situation (blowout, close game etc.).

Well I don't see how puttin up 18 and 8 in the minutes he was given is not posistive. It's not like the Spurs (entire squad) does not know how to play team defense. This game was impressive still since it was more competitive, but regardless, he had a solid performance. You probably won't see him average 14 and 8 next year, but he should have a solid year if he's given the minutes.
