This is my second version of my mock draft:

#1 pick: Milwaukee selects Andrew Bogut
    C 7?0? 240 pounds
    20 years old Utah

Andrew Bogut is the complete package for a big man. He can shoot, pass, and can play good defense down low. The only thing that might affect him is he's in the East. Don't sound bad, but that's where Milwaukee division includes these big men: Big Z, Rasheed Wallace, Ben Wallace, Eddy Curry, Tyson Chandler (if resigned) and Jermaine O'neal. He's also on a team that's rebuilding, but if they can get Redd back they're not far from getting to the playoffs.

#2 pick: Atlanta selects Marvin Williams
    SF/PF 6?9? 230 pounds
    18 years old UNC

Marvin Williams is said to have the biggest upside out of everyone in the draft. He was a key player off the bench for UNC, but didn?t get enough minutes to show his true potential. In a couple of years, Marvin Williams will lead Atlanta to a record over .500, but they will need to build around the core of the team. They got an excellent core of Josh Smith, Josh Childress, and Marvin Williams. So look for Atlanta to sign a guard out of the free agent pool.

#3 pick: Portland selects Gerald Green
    SG/SF 6?8? 195 pounds
19 years old Gulf Shores Academy

Gerald Green is a player full of potential, but should go to Oklahoma State. If he goes to college 2-4 years he could probably be a much better player, but he wants to take advantage of the good showing at the McDonald?s All-American game. It?s hard to pass up the NBA, so he will be drafted by the Trail Blazers to start the rebuilding in Portland.

#4 pick: New Orleans selects Chris Paul
    PG 6?0? 168 pounds
    20 years old Wake Forest

Chris Paul is a player that can make plays, score, and drive into the paint. Most people thinks he?s overrated, but to tell the truth, he?s a player that can get a teams pulse up and going again. If New Orleans wants to get going again, they?ll take Paul. He?s not Baron Davis, but he makes all the players around him better. He just needs another player that can score, and J.R. Smith will be a player that can contribute every night with him. If P.J. Brown has a good season, to help the young back court, maybe he?ll get 2 MVP votes instead of 1 like this year.

#5 pick: Charlotte selects Raymond Felton
    PG 6?0? 192 pounds
    20 years old UNC

Charlotte has a good core for an up and coming team. With Felton they?ll get a local product that is a proven champion. He can run a great fast break with Gerald Wallace running next to him. He can also dish the ball to Okafor and Brezec in the post like he did to Sean May in the UNC career. With another pick in the lottery the Bobcats will have a promising future.

#6 pick: Utah selects Deron Williams
    PG 6?3? 210 pounds
    20 years old Illinois

This guy isn?t a Jason Richardson, or a John Stockton but he is the perfect for Jerry Sloan?s system. He can score when need, as he did against Arizona, he can play Defense, as he did against, arguably the best shooter in the draft, Salim Stoudamire and he can dish the ball really effectively, as he did to his fellow Illinois teammates in their spectacular season last year. If Utah can get a real 3-point threat, the core of Kirilenko, Boozer, and Okur will bring Utah back to the promise land.

#7 pick: Toronto selects Antoine Wright
    SG/SF 6?7? 205 pounds
    21 years old Texas A&M

Wright can replace Vince Carter, in the Post VC era. He can shoot lights out when he?s gets the ball. He can be a nice addition to go along with Rafer Alston, Bosh, and Morris Peterson. With the horrible pick last year the Raptors really need someone to make up for it, that?s exactly what they will do by picking Antoine Wright. All they need to do is to develop Araujo to play the Center position

#8 pick: New York selects Fran Vazquez
    C 6?10 229 pounds
    22 years old International

It?s simple, the Knicks need someone big. They have a team full of undersized power forwards and centers. They need height, so they draft Vazquez who will come in and play right away for the Knicks. Hopefully Isaiah drafts or signs another big man, so Vasquez can also get some rest, without having the Knicks playing small. Fran is also an athletic big man who displays speed and mobility. So the Knicks can push the ball and get an up tempo game to revive the crowd in New York.

#9 pick: Golden State selects Danny Granger
    SG/SF 6?8? 215 pounds
    22 years old New Mexico

Granger is a player out of a New Mexico that can play at the 2 guard position and small forward. He will help Baron Davis and J-Rich to get the Warriors to the playoffs in the seasons to come. They really want to get a big man, but Danny Granger is too good to pass up. He can be a 1 man scoring machine as he was in the conference tourney championship against Utah as he tore them up.

#10 pick: L.A. Lakers selects Jarrett Jack
    PG 6?3? 202 pounds
    21 years old Georgia Tech

L.A. wants Jarrett Jack to become a starting point guard next year. They are really weak at the point guard position; with 2 shoot first- pass later point guards that don?t help Kobe that much, because he need 50 shots a game to be happy. So they will get someone to get the ball to Kobe, or he might be traded within a couple years, depends on what Kobe wants to do.

#11 pick: Orlando selects Hakim Warrick
    SF/PF 6?8? 210 pounds
    22 years old Syarcuse

He can make Orlando more athletic to become a team that can cause less athletic teams have some trouble. They are also most likely to move Howard to center, because it was reported he grew to 7-foot over the off season. Now Warrick can come in at forward next to Hill making the Magic a playoff contender next year.

#12 pick: L.A. Clippers selects Martell Webster
    SG/SF 6?7? 235 pounds
    18 years old Seattle Prep

Martell is a nice player out of the northwest that can develop along with Shaun Livingston to replace Corey Maggette when his contract runs out because Sterling is cheap and won?t want to pay that much money. (If he just pays all these players money, maybe he can get richer by raising the ticket prices) Kaman, Livingston, Brand, Maggette, and Webster is going to be a promising starting line-up for next year.

#13 pick: Charlotte selects Sean May
    PF/C 6?9? 266 pounds
    21 years old UN
    C
Sean May is a Tourney MVP, so Charlotte continues to pick local products by getting the Tourney hero. They want to get local products so they can draw some more local fan base. May and Felton is a promising duo out of UNC, and Charlotte are hoping the duo continues its success in the NBA, maybe even be the next Stockton to Malone.

#14 pick: Minnesota selects Ike Diogu
    PF 6?8? 242 pounds
    21 years old Arizona Stat
    e
Ike Diogu is a big pick up for the T?Wolves. They will experiment by putting Garnett at Center, and put Diogu at the 4 slot and make him the future of their franchise, along side Garnett. He is an effective post player, many say he?s undersized, I say his heart makes up for it. He can shoot around the perimeter, post up, and is a good all around player. I think this is a reach for him, but a steal for the T? Wolves at the same time.

#15 pick: New Jersey selects Chris Taft
    PF/C 6?10? 230
    20 years old Pittsburgh

Chris Taft has fallen out of the lottery, but Taft is going to be pushed by J-Kidd, and RJ. The only thing he might be influence to be lazier by Vince Carter, J/k, he will get the talk from VC. He is questioned for a bad work ethic, but he will contribute along side with Kristic for a long time with the Nets. I will look next year for the Nets to make the playoffs for sure, but not back to the finals, as long as the Heat, Pistons, and Upcoming teams like the Wizards, and Bulls are there.

#16 pick: Toronto selects Johan Petro
    C 7?0? 260 pounds
    19 years old International

Toronto is going to have enough height, to experiment and try to bring out the potential in this young guy. He and Araujo can develop together, along side Bosh, who is more developed so far. Toronto also could let this guy stay over-seas to develop, in order to have Araujo more playing time to develop. It?s a youth movement for Toronto coming into action for Toronto, they will be better in a couple year, but not this year.

#17 pick: Indiana selects Rudy Fernandez
    SG 6?5? 185 pounds
    20 years old International

He will be a replacement for Reggie Miller, the stud that just retired. They really need someone that can replace him not this year but in the future. He will be a huge part of the Pacers in years to come. Rudy is a player gifted with very nice athleticism. His main thing though is his strength is on the offensive end. He can flat out shoot, and that range includes behind the arc, so losing Reggie won?t hurt as bad when they bring this guy in. He can be a Reggie type player but not a clutch player like Reggie.

#18 pick: Boston selects Rashad McCants
    SG/SF 6?3?205 pounds
    20 years old UNC

They get a player that can be a key contributor off the bench. He and Ricky Davis can be very effective together, especially getting in the other teams heads. Many say he?s a head case, but he can flat out score. He can?t play defense though, so many teams they play, when McCants is in, their opponent will exploit this weakness by going to whoever he?s covering. If he can improve his defense the Celtics will be a contender in the East in no time.

#19 pick: Memphis selects Randolph Morris
    C 6?11? 266 pounds
    19 years old Kentucky

Memphis doesn?t really want this pick, so they will pick for the future. They will draft a Young big man to sit and learn behind one of the most underrated players in Pau Gasol. He is going to be 7-foot by the time he?s done growing, because he?s barely 19 and will grow more. He is a good player, but didn?t show it in College in the little minutes he played on a Kentucky team that had a 10 man rotation of top of the line player. He will learn a lot behind the big men that Memphis has, so he will be a good pick to put in storage for down the road.

#20 pick: Denver Selects Charlie Villanueva
    SF/PF/C 6?11? 230 pounds
    20 years old Connecticut

Charlie Villanueva is a good pick up for the Nuggets. They will put him on the bench so he can develop, and improve gradually next year. He will be a big man to add to the depth of Denver?s Frontline. He will join Camby, Elson, Nene, and Martin to add some depth to keep them fresh during the season. They like to run, so they need some depth, that?s why they?re going to add some more talent to this bench.

#21 pick: Phoenix selects Channing Frye
    C 7?0? 250 pounds
    22 years old Arizona

Phoenix picks a local product, in Channing Frye. He is a rare big man that can run, shoot, and play some defense that the Suns don?t have. Channing Frye is said to be an underachiever, but he has actually improved every year he was at Arizona under Lute Olson. He was a big contributor last year, especially in an undersized Pac-10 league. No one could stop him, just only hope to contain him. In the Tourney Illinois got torched by this guy. He was huge all year last year for Arizona, but in the shadow of Salim Stoudamire. Channing Frye has good instincts, he plays smart, he would block shots during continuation to prevent 3-point the old fashion way. He also is a rare 90% free throw shooter, especially for a big man.

#22 pick: Denver Selects Francisco Garcia
    PG/SG/SF 6?7? 190 pounds
    23 years old Louisville

Francisco Garcia is a Junior out of Louisville that was a good and consistent player for Rick Pitino. He carried his Louisville Cardinals to the Final Four last year before meeting Illinois. He plays with heart, so it takes a lot to take him out of his game. He leaves everything on the court every day he plays. He can also play 3 positions, PG, SG, and SF, so he is really versatile. Denver gets a player that can come in for them and play any where they need him.

#23 pick: Sacramento selects Joey Graham
    SF/PF 6?7? 217 pounds
    22 years old Oklahoma

He is a steal for Sacramento at 23. He is really an undersized Power Forward, but he is going to move the 3 spot. He can shoot the 18 foot Jumper, post up smaller players, and become a go to man. He will play behind Peja for Sacramento, but it might come down to, where he might have to play. If he can develop his jumper all the way out to 3 land, he might have to become a 2 guard or back-up Kevin Martin, so he is in a situation here, so look for Joey Graham to play no matter what here.

#24 pick: Houston selects Wayne Simien
    PF 6?8? 255 pounds
    22 years old Kansas

Wayne Simien is a proven college player, but is an undersized player. He already has a NBA ready body already though, so that?s why he?s in the first round. He can be a big contributor in a year or two when Howard and Taylor are old and over the hill, contributing less. He could be a big help to T-Mac and Yao, he can rebound extremely well, blocking out taller player, and scoring in the paint to help Yao in the Paint.

#25 pick: Seattle selects Kennedy Winston
    SG/SF 6?6? 215 pounds
    20 years old Alabam
    a
Mr. Winston can flat out play. He has a good all around game that is astoundingly good. He can shoot the NBA three very well. He can also drive and dish to open players, such as Rashard Lewis, and Maybe Ray Allen if he?s there. The key reason they draft Kennedy Winston is because of Ray Allen. Allen might not come back so they are looking ahead to what they have, so they get a shooting guard. Not only they probably going to lose Allen, they?ll lose Daniels and Flip Murray, two guards that really help them win games.

#26 pick: Detroit selects Andray Blatche
    PF/C 6?11? 248 pounds
18 years old South Kent Prep

Andray Blatche is another big project to go along with Darko Milicic. They are the front court of the future, when McDyess, Sheed, and Campbell retire. They all will start to decline in athletic ability, but they get more knowledge, so they will pass it down to this young guy that can become a fine replacement in the future. He is another high schooler that is declaring early because he can?t resist the wealth of the NBA, so he will be a project.

#27 pick: Utah selects Ronny Turiaf
    PF/C 6?10 249 pounds
    22 years old Gonzaga

Ronny Turiaf brings another player that can help contribute right away for Utah. He is experienced and can be dominate in some parts of the game. He has love for the game, and plays with heart. He can play center and power forward, but is more effective at power forward. He will help Utah lack of skill at the center position. He can also help Utah in the future. The only thing that hurts is that he?ll take some playing time away from Kris Humphries. Overall another good player out of Gonzaga.

#28 pick: San Antonio selects Angelo Gigli
    PF 6?11? 205 pounds
    22 years old International

Gigli can be a magnificent player in the future for the Spurs. He is a talented big man that can shoot the European 3-point shot. He has super athletic ability, to go along with the Spurs system. The Spurs get player after player to keep the line of champions in order. Gigli might stay over seas for a year or two because the Spurs really don?t need him right now, after being in the Finals. They will have him when they need him in a couple of year.

#29 pick: Miami selects David Lee
    PF 6?9? 252 pounds
    22 years old Florida

Miami landed just short this year of the Finals, but when Haslem is gone, they need some one to replace him. So another Florida prospect, David Lee, will replace him. Lee is not the tallest, but he?s an okay sized power forward that can become a huge part of Flash?s team. Shaq will be another big presence down low to go with Lee, so Lee can develop into a promising player of the future. Lee is going to have a chance to be a complementary player to Flash and Shaq next year.

#30 pick: New York selects Monta Ellis
    PG/SG 6?3? 160 pounds
    19 years old Lanier HS

Monta Ellis is just another part that New York needs to get, to help start their rebuilding process. He can learn how to be a ball hog, or at least how to get your own shot from Stephon Marbury. He going to be like a Telafair, a player that is the point guard of the future. He will take over when Marbury is gone; hopefully it will be soon, because this Ellis kid is the perfect match for New York. He will dominate in the future, but not immediately.

    SECOND ROUND

#31 pick: Atlanta selects Nate Robinson
    PG 5?9? 170 pounds
    21 years old Washington

This is a pick Atlanta can pick what ever they want. They need a point guard, because they don?t really have one. Nate Robinson is a Earl Boykins type player, that is sheer energy. He can also play, he will be a big part of the Atlanta rebuilding, with Marvin Williams being taken with the 2nd overall pick, this draft is really looking promising for the Atlanta Hawks.

#32 pick: L.A. Clippers selects Amir Johnson
    PF/C 6?9? 245 pounds
18 years old Westchester High School

Amir Johnson should go to Louisville, but he just simply doesn?t want to go to school. He is a big body you can put behind Brand, but he will be a player that is a bust later on. He could be such a good player in a year or two under Rick Pitino. Sterling also gets a High School player that he doesn?t have to pay as much, compared to a proven college player.

#33 pick: New Orleans selects Lawerence Roberts
    PF 6?9? 235 pounds
    22 years old Mississippi State

Roberts is a solid big man that plays with heart. Some may say he is a little undersized, but he makes up for it with heart. Last year if he came out he would have been a mid-1st rounder to a late-1st rounder at worst. The depth in this year?s draft has really killed Roberts, so this is a big steal for the Hornets who really need to make a make-over with this team.

#34 pick: Utah selects Matt Walsh
    SG 6?6? 190 pounds
    22 years old Florida

Matt Walsh shaved off all his hair, but he still has that sweet touch that carried the Gators for most of the season. This just might be the touch that can make Utah perimeter game a deadly one. With Matt Walsh, Raja Bell, and Giricek, the Shooting guard position is one of Utah?s strengths now. He will go good with the first two pick that Utah got in the 1st round.

#35 pick: Portland selects Salim Stoudamire
    PG/SG 6?1? 176 pounds
    22 years old Arizona

After having his cousin, they like Salim because he is lights out from down town. If he could just be 2-4 inches taller, he would probably be a guaranteed 1st rounder. He is also a magnificent defender, Lute Olson regarded him as Arizona?s best defender the last 2 seasons.

#36 pick: Milwaukee selects Louis Williams
    PG 6?3? 185 pounds
18 years old South Gwinnet High School

Louis Williams is a steal for Milwaukee at 36. He is the top high school prospect according to the top 100 list, but Gerald Green, and Martell Webster have jumped out at scouts with a spectacular performance, so that made this guy look like a no one, but in the long run he will be just as good as they are. The only thing he lacks is that he doesn?t have the point guard skills and don?t have the experience at the point guard position.

#37 pick: L.A. Lakers select Jason Maxiell
    SF/PF 6?7? 250 pounds
    22 years old Cincinatti

The Laker typically drafts Maxiell because of his toughness. He is a player that has experience and won?t take shot away from Kobe. He is a Mark Madsen type player, that uses heart and has a built body that won?t be pushed around like a skinnier player.

    #38 pick: Orlando Mickael Gelabale
    SF 6?7? 200 pounds
    22 years old International

He has slipped far down the board, so Orlando basically takes the best player left in this draft. They need talent off the bench, especially at small forward with Grant Hill?s injuries and his retirement in a couple of years.

#39 pick: L.A Lakers selects Ryan Gomes
    SF/PF 6?8? 235 pounds
    22 years old Providence

Ryan Gomes is a proven player on the collegiate level. He stayed all four year at Providence, and improved almost every aspect of his game. Gomes would have been much higher, but the poor senior season of Providence hurt him. He was the only star shining in Providence last year.

#40 pick: Golden State selects C.J. Miles
    SG/SF 6?6? 190 pounds
18 years old Skyline High School

With this pick the Warriors get a high school project. C.J. won?t come in right away, but he?ll be a project. With him behind Richardson, and Pietrus, he could learn so much. Miles would be better just going to college.

#41 pick: Toronto selects Tiras Wade
    PG/SG 6?7? 210 pounds
    23 years old UL-Lafayette

Wade sounds so familiar, but this guy isn?t related to Dwayne. He will be a good guard off the bench for Toronto; he can also play the point guard position to help ?Skip to My Lou?, next year.

#42 pick: Golden State selects Erazem Lorbek
    PF 6?11? 242 pounds
    21 years old Internationa
    l
Erazem is a super skilled player who, offensively, can do it all. It?s very hard to find a big man with such a repertoire of abilities and solid fundamentals. He could really help the post of Golden State, with the post players the Warriors; they need some offense in the post.

#43 pick: New Jersey selects Mindaugus Katelynas
    SF 6?9? 225 pounds
    22 years old UT-Chattanooga

This guy has good size for a small forward. He sorts of remind people of Andrei Kirilenko, but he won?t be that type of player in the long run. He?ll be a solid back-up through his career. Plus he leaves everything on the court; maybe he can teach Taft and Carter that, Kidd will like this kid.

#44 pick: Orlando selects Luther Head
    SG 6?3? 185 pounds
    22 years old Illinois

Luther Head was in the shadow of his teammate, Deron Williams. He was really the best defender on the team, according to his coach. He was the one that had that dunk against Arizona that he pick pocketed from Mustafa Shakur. Orlando get a good NBA ready player that can play defense, this late in the draft is a still considering they won't have some key players next year.
#45 pick: Philadelphia selects Orien Greene
    PG 6?5? 210 pounds
    23 years old UL-Lafayette

Orien is a rare pass-first point guard with outstanding athletic ability. He is an extremely unique prospect in this draft, one of a kind in terms of the size, skills, athleticism and talent he possesses at his position. He will take less shots so AI can work some more magic during games too.

#46 pick: Indiana selects Julius Hodge
    PG/SG/SF 6?7? 205 pounds
21 years old North Carolina State

Julius was the ACC player of the year. He is a super talented player that is going to have a really successful career. He was hurt this year because of the depth of the Draft, so look for him to be a steal.

#47 pick: Minnesota selects Luke Schenscher
    C 7?0? 225 pounds
    22 years old Georgia Tech

Minnesota can really use a center with the Candy man disappointing all the fans in Minnesota. Luke might bring the force, but if not, it was just a late second round pick that they used on their needs. He is very good post player that can score against smaller defender rather easily.

#48 pick: Seattle selects Will Conroy
    PG 6?2? 195 pounds
    22 years old Washington

Seattle is filling another position that they?re going to lose, Antonio Daniels. Conroy is a really good point guard that can pass extremely well. He can also score when needed though, as he led the Huskies last year up in the northwest.

#49 pick: Washington selects Uros Slokar
    PF 6?11? 238 pounds
    22 years old International

Uros Slokar is a finesse player. You can see the talent and elegance whenever he touches the ball. Uros has very good fundamentals, and can shoot very well, but not the best from 15-foot and out.

#50 pick: Boston selects Linas Kleiza
    6?8? 233 pounds
    20 years old Missouri

Kleiza is a unique prospect in this draft, as there are not many prospects with his skill level in terms of how many different things he brings to the table and the approach you need to take to guarding him. So the Celts get a steal, to add on to their talented youthful roster.

#51 pick: Utah selects Marcelo ?Marcelinho? Huertas
    6?3? 185 pounds
    22 years old, International

Huertas is a poor man?s Steve Nash. He is a flashy point guard, one of those guys that people fall in love with or absolutely hate. He enjoys good quickness and excellent handles with both hands, most people can?t tell whether he is left handed or right handed, so this guy is a very good pick for Jerry Sloan and the Jazz.

#52 pick: Denver selects Dijon Thompson
    6?8? 209 pounds
    22 years old UCLA

George Karl gets a good consistent guy no matter how the teams doing. His four years at UCLA were awful for the Bruins, but Dijon played his heart out no matter what.

#53 pick: Boston selects Alex Acker
    PG/SG 6'5" 190 pounds
    22 years old Pepperdine

Alex is a Tall, versatile, triple-double threat with unique skills that make him an intriguing draft prospect. Acker is an athletic 6'5" guard with legitimate PG skills. So Gary Payton, you retire any time soon?

#54 pick: New York selects Jared Homan
    PF/C 6?10? 250 pounds
    21 years old Iowa State

New York picks another big man that isn?t shorter than 6?9?. The Knicks get the best big man still available.

#55 pick: Seattle Selects Jawad Williams
    SF/PF 6?9? 221 pounds
    22 years old UNC

Seattle gets another big man that can step out and shoot around the perimeter. Jawad was the starting power forward over 2nd pick, Marvin Williams, in the UNC championship run.

#56 pick: Detroit selects John Gilchrist
    PG 6?3? 200 pounds
    20 years old Maryland

John Gilchrist is a magnificent player for Detroit, for when Linsey Hunter retires. He can score very well, and he sometimes carried Maryland in some of the most crucial game for them.

#57 pick: Phoenix selects Jackie Manuel
    SG/SF 6?5? 192 pounds
    22 years old UNC

It?s very simple, Phoenix need some defensive players, that?s exactly what Manuel is. He can get back and block shots, shut down a very good offensive player, and is a very good finisher on a fast break.

#58 pick: Toronto selects Brandon Bass
    PF 6?8? 250 pounds
    20 years old LSU

Bass is the best available player in this case, so Toronto is getting some talent they can use.

#59 pick Atlanta selects Sean Banks
    SG/SF 6?8? 206 pounds
    20 years old Memphis

Banks was suspended all of last year from the Memphis basketball team, so he wants a fresh start in the NBA, so no better team than a Hawks team that need talent.

#60 pick: Detroit selects Yiannis Bouroussis
    PF/C 6?11? 247 pounds
    21 years old International

Yiannis is a player that can stay over see in Athens for a couple of year. Some say he can become a Troy Murphy type player best scenario, worst scenario say he can become the next Efthimis Rentzias, so it?s a gamble.

    PG/SG 6?3?
Plus he?s from M.J.?s old school.</div>

Um, no, MJ (I assume you were talking about Jordan) went to LANEY HS in North Carolina. Monta Ellis went to Lanier HS in Mississippi. Otherwise, very good mock. I loved your second round, lot of names no one else has been throwing around. It's always a crap shoot, but the logic behind each pick was great. Especially your Jackie Manuel to the Suns pick.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">#23 pick: Sacramento selects Joey Graham
    SF/PF 6?7?
If he can develop his jumper all the way out to 3 land, he might have to become a 2 guard or back-up Kevin Martin, so he is in a situation here, so look for Joey Graham to play no matter what here.</div>

Nice mock Jay_r, this pick just stood out for me though. Why so low for Joey Graham? He's been great in his workouts and is NBA ready right now. I cannot see him slipping out of the top 20.

I thought Sun Ming Ming withdrew from the draft? I also don't agree with your assessment that Orlando has nothing to lose. Their roster is far from being complete and without much cap flexibility, it's important for them to load the bench with cheap, young, capable talent. Also their 3 best defenders will be free agents, Doug Christie, Kelvin Cato, and Tony Battie.

Having a non-guaranteed 2nd round pick who can step in and play now is exactly what they need, not a project like Sun Ming Ming, especially at #44.

Luther Head was in the shadow of his teammate, Deron Williams. He was really the best defender on the team, according to his coach. He was the one that had that dunk against Arizona that he pick pocketed from Mustafa Shakur. Detroit get a NBA ready player this late in the draft.

I keep reading on these mockk drafts that the Pacers are going to try to replace Miller with this years draft pick. First off this pick isnt high enough for the pacers to try to replace Reggie secondly Bird isnt going to draft a player that he has to buy a contract out.

    Rashad McCants?!?!?!

There is no chance that the Celtics pick him. Why would Ainge ignore his biggest holes, which are at PG and C, and pick a SG? We already have Pierce (for now), Davis, Delonte West, and Tony Allen to play the 2, and all four of them are better than McCants.

This isnt as much of a knock on your mock draft as it is a knock on all mock drafts since Dirk Nowitzki been drafted. Every year i go to see who my team is going to get and every year its projected that 7-12 international players are going to be drafted. But when it comes down to draft day only about 4 are actually drafted because of the contracts that those players have with their European League teams. I want to know if the people who make these mock drafts take in to consideration the the probability that a team is going to pay so much more money to buy a contract to gamble on a person that plays about 12 minutes a game in the euro leagues

Nice Mock J. The only things that suprised me were Frye and Joey Graham going so low. I don't see orlando picking Warrick over Webster. I think CJ Miles will go earlier. Other than that it was right on.

This is one of the best mocks so far, though I see some stuff in the mid-late first.
Taft,McCants likely dropped a bit further, their downsiodes are getting a lot of notice now. Frye and Blatche are going up,Vasquez + Petro are going down, and with Simien measuring about as big as Taft,he's getting more credit for a productive year. Julius Hodge has enough game someone will grab him rd 1,likewise B Bass will go in the top part of rd 2.....and someone will take Travis Diener,Eddie Basden to fill roles. If Dwayne Jones stays in,possible late first rd. I have not seen firm reports as to whether Sun Ming Ming stays in,or has already pulled out. I like him as a rd 2 project and that's the most he expected.

It may sound like I am chopping up this mock a lot,but there's a lot that's real good in it,well above most. A few tweaks and it is very close to the only one real close to what will happen..or should.

Taft and McCants could have drop but won't most likely because of the potential they have. I should had Frye higher, and Blatche I didn't know much about him, so I had him down there. When did Simien measue about as big as Taft, I didn't know Simien started wearing high heels either [IMG]
Travis Diener would have been with Utah with the last pick, but they traded it so I had to change it. Basden has been doing horrible in the workout I heard so I didn't put him in here. I had Sun Ming-Ming but Shapecity criticized me about it Thx for all the ways I could improve it.

I was told by Voodoo Child to make Frye and Graham higher, and Webster go to Orlando, but I was lazy and didn't go back, so I'll have to make my third version

As said earlier, I still don't think that Frye and Graham slip, and Webster is a better fit in Orlando. Other than that, Granger was supposidely very impressive in his workouts today and I can see him going to Toronto or New York before I can see him going to Golden State. Salim Stoudamire is also way too high. He is only 6-0 tall and supposedly tweaked his ankle, so he won't be showing teams he can run the point in Chicago this week. You brought up how Portland had Damon Stoudamire, but their experience with him wasn't exactly a pleasant one, and Salim does have a bad history of his own. Also, where is Alan Anderson? He was the leading scorer on the first day of games at Chicago with 24 points. He was overshadowed at Michigan State because he played on the only team in the NCAA with five other guys scoring double figures, and that's not even including their starting Point Guard. He'll be able to show what he can do at Chicago (as he did last night) and should go high to mid second round. I would have also included Yaroslav Korolev, as well as Andrew Bynum.

    Overall, pretty good mock. [IMG]
