Now that that's settled, here is what's left for the Bulls to accomplish this summer. ? Get Eddy Curry cleared to play. Curry met with Leon Rose, his new agent, on Wednesday in Chicago. Rose is in the process of gathering and having his experts assess Curry's medical records and meeting with Curry and his family to determine a course of action. Rose has a solid working relationship with general manager John Paxson, who has made it clear the specialists the Bulls have used want Curry to submit to a DNA test to help them assess if his enlarged heart is genetic or a symptom of cardiomyopathy. To placate Curry, who mistakenly may feel the Bulls are working only in their best interests, not Curry's, it's possible Rose first will have Curry see doctors that he approves. But look for Rose eventually to dovetail the interests of Curry and the Bulls so they are on the same page. After all, everybody involved wants the same thing?for Curry to be healthy. ? Get Luol Deng healthy. The Bulls need more size and athleticism, and they will get both if Deng's surgically repaired right wrist is ready for training camp in October. Deng's serious injury is very similar to the one that sidelined New Jersey forward Richard Jefferson early last season. Jefferson returned for the playoffs. Deng still is wearing a cast but is expected to begin a three- to six-month rehabilitation soon.</div> Source
Yeah, we really need these two healthy. I believe if we had either on of them, we would have beat the Wizards in the first round, and would have at least won one game agianst the Heat.
Hopefully Deng gets healthy, it sucks to see him get injuries like this in his rookie season because he was playing great for the Bulls.

I hate to say this, but could this be the Duke curse hitting us agian?
This season was incredible for the Bulls. To bad it had to end the way it did. With all the injuries that is to Deng and Curry. Who knows how far they would have gone with those two in the playoffs. I think this team has a good young core that will keep them going to the playoffs the next couple seasons. Curry would be my biggest concern, because he provides you with a big man who can play under the basket well which is something Chandler is not so polished in doing. Not taking anything away from Deng either they need him to be healthy he was probably one of the most explosive rookies in this seasons draft class before the injury.
