Wade has a long way to go to catch Bryant

What about wen ur boy Iverson got arrested for tryin to shoot his cuz or sumthin like that, we didn't see everyone gang up on him like this. I wouldn't say anything about Kobe because Iverson has probably done a lot worse in his career. If he did it she wouldn't have dropped the case. I'm not a Kobe lover, yet I am not a Kobe hater and what you guys are doing to this guy is outta control.

 

Well Odom is a really good player. He hasn't evolved into an allstar, which is a shame, but he is talented, and so is Caron. I just don't think the chemistry is there between these guys in the Lakers.

I will confess I am a laker hater, but I don't go around bashing them. The truth is, Laker fans bring it upon themselves when they attack the other teams, especially the Heat.

I could also say that saying that the Lakers board is the most active of the team forums is arguable. I think its a close contest between the Lakers and the Rockets here. I personally think the Rockets board is better, but I'm a biased Rockets fan HAHAHA.

Lakers bash the Heat because Shaq bashes the Lakers. Get it?

The Lakers are on the right track but we have to wait and stop bashing Kobe and the rest of the organization. Kobe has kept his mouth shut the whole year. It isn't Kobe's fault for the demise of the Lakers. Don't question the Lakers management for not doing some things because they are better at their job than any of us would be at that job. They are professionals. We are spectators and fans. Give some positive support to the organization. Honestly, what has Mitch Kupchak has done that was so horrible? Let me ask you guys this question. Mitch hasn't had an opportunity yet. Maybe he had a few bad draft picks but those picks were fitted for the triangle offense not the best players. I just got visions of Mitch being the next Jerry Krause. Oh no. Fans give respect and attention to Kupchak before he gets all insecure and rude like Krause.

The whole Shaq trade to the heat was a big fiasco. Is that the big thing people have against him? Do you guys understand that Shaq demanded the trade? Mitch had very few options to trade Shaq. I think the teams that Shaq would've allowed were Dallas, and Miami. Shaq had some kind of no-trade clause in his contract I think. There was no way we were going to trade him to a team in the same conference. So we had one option. People get mad and think Mitch didn't try and get Wade. Do you honestly think that he didn't try and get Wade. Do you guys think he just settled ohh yeah Pat I love Brian Grant's contract. I love Lamar's contract too. Ohh Pat give me some injury prone guys. That is equal for the most dominant force in the world. But Riley knew the situation and that the Lakers were running out of options. So Riley just offered these guys. Although Miami got the better part of the deal short term let's look for the future of the Lakers. Mitch did the best he could. But it was all Dr. Buss decision. Jerry Buss said he would've reconsidered trading Shaq if he knew Shaq would've lost 80 pounds or whatever the amound was. Shaq got so offended when he heard that and started bashing the Buss and the organization. But Dr. Buss's statement was true. Shaq just can't accept the truth. Shaq has been out of shape come training camp almost every off-season as I can remember. But in the past he was young and a monster so he could still be dominant without working out in the off-season. But now he is old and getting fragile. Imagine Shaq's season this year if he never worked out. He had a hard time playing this season because of his age and weight. Ideally, I think a good weight for Shaq would be like 300. But what is he now? I'm not sure 330 maybe. I think he was going to trade Shaq no matter what whether Kobe was on or off the team. Dr. Buss offered a bling bling extension to Shaq but he didn't accept it. Let's treat it like a real job. Shaq was swearing at Dr. Buss at training camp. What would happen if any of us yelled and sweard at our boss. I am only in high school but I am the most productive construction worker for the company I work for but if I sweared at my boss he would fire me along with anyone else that would do that. So Shaq should get fired which he did by getting traded. Shaq wouldn't have been motivated for anything if he came back to the Lakers. Shaq was motivated for the Heat. So we had to start sometime. Let's not waste Kobe's prime years on rebuilding. Let's get back to where the Lakers belong. We need more championship banners.

This is a online message board where we are supposed to speculate politely on the issues with the NBA. I think we can all admit that Kobe is one of the best in the league. Dwyane Wade is one of the best in the league. They are the two of the best players in the world. So what's the problem? Kobe is obviously a proven player in this league already so Kobe would have leverage on Wade in this argument. For now Kobe might be a better player than Wade but that doesn't mean Wade is not a good player. He is still one of the best players in the league. Don't be jelous of their success Laker fans, admire them and allow Kobe to be on the Lake show next year.
