Detroit - San Antonio, as a toothache.
If San Antonio does not remedy it, games expect of not for theirs more than 80 points and a basketball control those that it can mark epoch,
Of the two the one that more I like is San Antonio, a team that can play so much to putting many points as to many .. but surely Detroit marks a slow pace and San Antonio will be contagious..
we are not going to be before the final any more expectacular of last years...

It was an ugly game last night. There is no sugarcoating it. I watched it from start to finish. It was flat out not good and it was as bad as advertised. Very low scoring and very lousy shooting. The second half was really awful while the first half was okay to watch.

Pistons really blew it in IMO. I thought Game 1 was a golden opportunity for them to steal a win. Detroit played well defensively all night long except in the fourth quarter when they were clearly showing fatigue as you saw Ginobili do whatever he wanted out there in that money quarter.
The defending champs outplayed the Spurs and they still could not win. Detroit missed some easy shots and easy layups out there. Detroit had great looks. They just could not execute out there. Yeah their players put good numbers, but they still could not get over the hump. They survived in the first half, but it really hurted them in the second half.

Spurs should be fortuante to steal this one and you know they will play lot better in the next game which can't be a good thing for the Pistons. Manu is simply amazing to watch. He took over the fourth quarter. He made some big shots and attacked the paint. One of the things I love about Manu is that he goes out there and be aggressive by going to the hole rather than shoot jumpers as you see most NBA players do especially the Timberwolves. If there is a one thing I hate about Manu, he flops. Like for example last night, Lindsay Hunter gives a gentle push to Manu yet Manu goes out and flops and acts like he is a pain. I could not believe the refs fell for it. That irked me right there.

I thought Detroit looked skittish out there and you can tell they were fatigued from practicing only one day. I think the extra days will help the Pistons in the next game. Detroit got by with adrealine out there to start the game, but they could not sustain it. I am sure they will play better, but the tough part for them is you know the Spurs will play well too.

Game 2 can't be worse than Game 1, can it. I sure hope not. It can't be. I still think it will be a great series, but Detroit better find a way to win one or else I could be done watching for the year.
