Hamilton, Hubert Davis and Bobby Simmons were traded for Jerry Stackhouse, Brian Cardinal and someone else I can't remember. I think he was a euro.

You should be able to look in Rip's player file on Pistons.com. It should tell you all the transactions he has been threw.

    Washington Sends:

    Rip Hamilton
    Bobby Simmons
    Hubert Davis

    Washington Receives:

Anwain Jamison (traded for Stackhouse and Devin Harris)
    Brian Cardinal
    Ratko Varda
    Cash

When you look at it that way, it doesn't seem as bad.

Yes well at the time of the trade, Stackhouse was better than Rip. After Grant Hill left the pistons, Stackhouse was averaging something like 25 point a game... I could bewrong though.

Stack was second in the league in scoring at 29.8ppg in 2001, then in 2001-2002 he became more of a team player and averaged 21.4 and 5.3 assists. At the time of the trade, he was considered to be a better player than Hamilton, although he was older. At the time, the deal was considered to be equal.
