Tonight the Detroit Pistons try to tie the series with the Spurs, and lots of Sixers fans are scratching their heads as they watch two ex-Sixers make a serious mark on the series. Both Bruce Bowen and Nazr Mohammed spent some time on Broad Street, but neither stayed long enough to reach their full potential. Billy King probably pondered the Sixers propensity to bail on young players before they?d ripened. Probably another reason why O?Brien got bounced.</div>

This article explains why Salmons should be resigned. I whole heartedly agree with his. To me, Salmons seems like a special player because of what he has shown us from last season under Ford and because he has potential to be a great player. A big body, good defense, and a developing offensive game for a guard, it only makes sense for us to keep him.

Salmons has always been a top and even underrated player to come off our bench. He`s a great athlete, offensive minded, and we need a player like that. Lets just hope BK holds on to him, but I doubt thats anything to worry about.

Salmons is a player who has shown some potential, we did pick up his option I know that so hopefully Philly keep him and let him continue to grow.

Yeah, potential on another squad. I seen Salmons for several years now and think they need to trade him. He deserves it at least.

This guy has ridden the pine year after year and I'd like to see him go to a team like Atlanta or Charlotte to see if he can bloom.

All though he could be a Bruce Bowen type of player with a lil more scoring ability. But the thing here is that he needs minutes to accomplish this.

I say package him up with a few like Josh Davis, Barnes, Bradley and get a lil size in here.

The best thing for Salmons would be for him to go to a crappy team and get minutes and develop.

Yeah I think he's just waiting to break out. His talents have been wasted for the past two years even though everyone knows he has the skills to become great in the league. We've seen glimmers of it during last season when injuries plagued the team. However, with Cheeks coaching the team I thought he might be able to work out a rotation that can utilize all our young guys. If that doesn't work, well then ship him off in a trade to a rebuilding team where he can shine. Maybe later in his career we'll get him back.
