The Jazz has assets to get in the mix, though the feeling is the Blazers don't want to take on any more big contracts. Figure the big experiment in Utah with Carlos Boozer and Mehmet Okur is over. If Utah doesn't try to move up to get one of the point guards, the word is that the team likes Spanish power forward Fran Vazquez. If Utah is inclined to move Boozer, the Knicks and one of their expiring contracts are a possibility. The Knicks always are looking for more talent and willing to take the extra years. They also have the No. 8 pick, so they'd have a chance to upgrade as well.</div> <div align="center">Link</div>
As I said in another thread? It won?t happen. The extra years isn?t why, it?s because we have no use for him.

Sam Smith is a Hack!...........There's a reason why he no longer writes for ESPN. Boozer is going nowhere!! Tank

Only way I trade Boozer to Knicks is for Sweetney and Crawford and exchange the lottery pick. Most likely the Knicks wouldn't trade them though.
Boozer won't go to New York, however it is very likely he's shopped around by Utah in the offseason. He could end up on just about 2/3 of the NBA's rosters, he's a solid 20 Point/10 Rebound guy, he isn't over paid, he's a good power foward to have around. Any team fighting for playoff postions would love to have Boozer on their roster, that's why I think there's going to be a pretty high demand for him if infact Utah decides to deal him. My Opinion, Carlos Boozer should goto Sacramento in a deal that would involve Bobby Jackson. Afterall, Sacramento needs The Power Foward since C-Webb is gone. Bobby Jackson wants to start, he'll be a free agent next season, Sacramento can't offer him that postion or that money so he likely wouldn't be staying in SacTown anyhow. Utah needs that everyday point guard, Bobby Jackson would do wonders on that roster, especially in late game situations.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting MrJ:</div><div class="quote_post">Why not add another one to have half of our active roster power forwards especially the undersized ones! </div> Undersized!!.........Someday someone please explain to me the value of the word. Undersized as compared to what??.....A handfull of 7' tall biological freaks of nature that there's not enough of to go around. Players of lessor height have been substituting talent and hard work in the NBA for decades. Try Sir Charles as an example. Listed at 6'6" but really closer to 6'4" who spent a carreer at PF dominating players a foot taller. One of only 4 players EVER, to score 20,000 pts, grab 10,000 boards and dish out 4,000 dimes. Undersized??............The word is overused and has little meaning. Tank

Everyday means playing more than 5 games a year!!! Your probably like WOW . LOL I live in Northern California and Jackson didn't even really play the last half of last year and all of this year because he has the same injury over and over lately.

He's got an entire offseason to rest, he's in a contract year, if I were a betting man I'd put my chips all in that Bobby Jackson plays 70+ games this season. When he does, he's one of the best all around point guards in the league. He's clutch, he's solid defensively, and he can light it up in a hurry.
