hey guys want your opinion on something...will we use the 16th pick, is it not true that if we opt out of the 16th and philly has a worse year next year then is there not a chance to have a higher pick next year, this brings me to the next question with webber having the same arthritic condition that houston from new york suffers from, combined with the fact that there may be a chemistry problem with iverson and webber is it possible that philly may not do that well next year? of course that pick is protected next year so if they have too bad of a season it will not benefit us at all and if they have a better season then that too does not benefit us... in other words do we take the risk of not taking the 16th this year and end up having no pick at all from philly next year or a worse pick? sorry about all the questions but all this was nagging me and nothing has been written about it in the papers, thought some of you may be able to shed some light on this. well, I think that this year's draft is fairly deep so even if Phili has the same standing next year it doesn't guarantee that our pick will be as useful. Also I don't believe any players by the name of Jarret Jack will be in the draft next year.

I'd bet 10:1 odds Jack isnt there at 16. We wont opt out though, like said above, this draft is fairly deep so the 16th pick this year could be the 10th pick next. Especially when you consider that next year will probably be a very very dull year if the age cap goes in. All the underagers are coming in this year to avoid it so we'll have to pick out of half the number of players.....not all that impressive.

never considered the age cap, your right this may be the deepest draft for years to come, and I hope to god Jack is there by 16.

Either Jack or Ukic sounds fantastic for me @ 16th pick! Babcock apparently likes Ukic after watching him work out in Italy. Read Chuck Checks In on Raptors.com.
