New Alternate Celtic Jersey?

I have been hearing alot of talk about the celtics getting a black alternate jersey for next season, Im all for it. I was just wondering does anyone know if this is true or not and what do yougize think about it?

 

Supposedly, that's them. The organization has been putting these back for years now. I'm pretty sure we're the only team without alternate threads, and I hear that's coming to an end next season.

Personally, I love them. That shamrock on the shorts is hot. I love how they maintained that classic Boston Celtics look.

I like the shorts A LOT but no so much with the jersey. I had seen this in NBA Live '05 but was wondering why the I had never seen the team with them. The shamrock shorts are amazing.

The knicks in fact dont have alternate jerseys.

 

Both jersey and shorts are lucious! I`m all for it.

 

I don't like them. I think we should have the 80's or 60's Celtic jerseys as alternates. I don't think that the black represents the Celtics. Maybe I'm living in the past to much.... I am feeling the shamrock though.

Yea, there was a big...well sort of, big roar about these before this past season, but the Celts ended up not wearing them, I personallky don't like them and think something better could be made. Maybe they should take some Diddy advice(a la Mavericks) and just have a totally differnt alternate jersey

 

I was wondering why the Celtics weren't wearing these after I saw them in NBA Live 2005. The shorts are really nice but I don't really like the black on the jersey that much.

 

I Think it ruins Celtics pride. Theyve had same type of jersey there whole life. Green with the White, or White with the Green. I dont like them changing it up.

 

its not ruining the Celtics Pride I mean the jersey is still mostly green, and it has a shamrock and everything.

 

Yea it's not ruining everything. It's an alternate which means they'll wear the other ones for most of the year.

 

finally-i always wished that they have a throwback night with the old bill russell uniforns-these jerseys are nice-the throwback franchises like the steelers, cowboys, lakers, bruins, maple leafs, and red sox have all changed. why not the celts? good looking out on the pics
