Sport Express, quoting what it called reliable sources at Barcelona, said Jasikevicius would earn 2.5 million euros a season. The three-time Euroleague winner has an exit clause allowing him to leave for the NBA, Sport Express said." Haaretz</div>
This looks like a move that is a result of the looming lockout. He wants to have somewhere to play if there is an NBA lockout. source

sry, this rumor is not even close to being true. sarunas's agent denied it.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">A source at Maccabi Tel Aviv said yesterday, however, that Jasikevicius would not leave for another club in Europe and the player's agent also denied the report. "Jasikevicius will play in the NBA," said a source at Maccabi. "Even if there is a lock-out, he will wait till it is solved. He knows there are teams in the NBA that definitely want him."</div>

    30 I believe

Sarunas will be a decent role player for somebody but he needs to be in the right situation. He needs a big guy to open things up for him to shoot. He won't be anywhere near as effective as many expect. He may be the best player in europe but the rules, the three-point line is different. He is not that fast and not that good on the defensive end.

Don't get me wrong I like his game but he is nothing but a back-up.

He's 29, and yeah, he won't be that effective in the league, and will only go down from here. He's in the end of his prime IMO.

A total rumor! his plans are either NBA or Maccabi,he has not' to look for in Barca now, maccabi is still D best team in europe and theres no reason that if he stays in europe he will leave this succesfull team.
