I'm going to answer both of these questions since both look interesting. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting smokrockz:</div><div class="quote_post">The BIG ONE... What If we never lost Shaq?</div> The Lakers would not be considered one of the best teams. Kobe would be a lot like Allen Iverson because he would be playing without another star to help him (Not that Kobe minds ). The Magic would have won two championships and then got something huge for him making us contenders for years to come. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">What if...the Magic change the owner and want to change a team name...into something like Orlando Mana, Orlando Karma etc??</div> I would be very embarrased to be a Karma or Mana fan. I think I would have to stop buying jerseys because they would probably just look plain stupid. I think eventually the owners would change the name back when jersey sales plummit and people don't like the new name. What if the Magic signed Shareef Abdur Rahim to play alongside Dwight Howard. Would the Magic make the playoffs?
if we had shareef playing period we could win. He is a proven low post scorer as well as a defender. He is underrated for his position. He reminds me of a tim duncan type, go out get the job done. Injuries are the only prob with him and contract. what if orlando had a new arena to call home???
This thread died awhile ago but I think we should bring it back since the Magic offseason has been very boring lately. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting smokrockz:</div><div class="quote_post">what if orlando had a new arena to call home???</div> If the Magic get a new arena it would indicate that our franchise is moving in the right direction. In order for us to move into a better arena it is going to take some fan support and some wins. If our team starts to put together some playoff seasons, I wouldn't be suprised if plans for a new arena start surfacing. I would be very happy to get an upgrade over the T.D. Waterhouse Centre because it would should the owners don't plan on moving the team to another city anytime soon. What if Grant Hill has another successful season? Will the Magic make the playoffs?
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Swish15:</div><div class="quote_post"> What if Grant Hill has another successful season? Will the Magic make the playoffs?</div> If Grant Hill has another successful season it should be enough to put he magic into the playoffs, brring other injuries, or incompetance in coaching (I'm still not convinced Brian Hill is any moore than a coach who got lucky to coach Shaq and Penny and should be a career assistant.) I do have confidence in this team though. What if the Magic had never traded the future first rounder to acquire Jameer Nelson?

Anyways, if you guys never traded for Jameer, you would have probably lost more games. What if you guys never got T-Mac?
If we never got Tracy McGrady we would be a very good team. Why would we be so good? Well, if we never acquired Tracy McGrady we would have went several years with a high selection in the NBA Draft. Since we got McGrady in 2000, we might have had a chance to get players such as Kenyon Martin, Jason Richardson, Yao Ming, Amare Stoudemire and LeBron James. That would be a stacked lineup and we would be a dominant team for years to come. What if the Magic never traded away Ben Wallace?

What if the Magic didn't waste their draft pick on Fran? Who would we have picked and how much would it have helped our team?
