Yea I liike him, he is an explosive player and is well on his way to becoming a good player. I'm no Sonics fan, but you guys would defiantely score if he came there.

Well because, Flip Murray might not come back right? Crawford would just be explosive off the bench, I was just wondering what were your opinions on it

I was just thinkin about this, he grew up near rainer beach where i used to live and went to school with some of my cousins, thats what my cousin told me, i dont know what school he goes to. But man it would be nice if we got him to come to Seattle. Maybe try to sign/trade Ray to NY sine NY likes giving old guys big contracts. It would work if we did that, hes still young and hes real good.

I wouldn't feel comfortable with Jamal as our main option on offense.

There is no way he and Ray could co-exist, and like Casual, I wouldn't want him as a first option, even though he likes to think of himself as one.

Would much prefer Jason Terry as far as hometown guards go.

Not a big Crawford fan. Kinda makes you wonder about his decision making when throwing it off the backboard and dunking is part of your shot selection.

I heard he drove Skiles crazy; and if Nate doesn't like Ray Allen's shot selection, wait til he sees Jamal's.

He's still maturing and can become a great second option at the point, or you can make ihm your 6 man, you could also move Allen to the 3 and place him at the 2 guard.

I don't think playing Ray Allen at Small Forward or Jamal Crawford at Point Guard will help anything. I love Jamal Crawford but there is no way he would make a significant contribution to this team and more than likely would downgrade our performance. This is all a moot point seeing how Crawford's contract isn't up for awhile and there being no rumors about something like this going down.

I think that would be a good move for the Sonics if they could land Crawford and make him a 6th man. He?ll come off the bench with energy and provide them with instant offense not to mention he?ll be a hometown hero and keep the crowd even more energized with his ridiculous crossovers and off-the-backboard-dunks to himself. His contract isn?t too great, but the talent is there and he is fairly young at age 25. It doesn?t seem as if Isiah wants to trade Crawford just yet especially considering he worked so hard to get him and just trades him away.

The last thing we need is a 6th man that is a shooting guard if Ray Allen is back. He'll get his 35-40 minutes a game, and Ridnour will be getting more playing time as well and probably learning to play at the end of the games, so a third guard isn't going to get the minutes AD got this season gone by.

Just not a good fit, unfortunately.

I just ran into Crawford today at my gym (Eastside).

I'm one of the few people who uses the squat rack so I was suprised to see a couple dudes hanging out in there.

Turns out it was Jamal and one of his buds; I ask them how many sets they had left and they said there weren't using it - I guess it was just a place for them to talk.

So they got out of the way and ran off to do some tricep extensions.

C'mon Jamal that's not going to get you anywhere [IMG]

You guys got to be dreaming. Crawford just got with the Knicks last year and he contributed alot. There's no way Zeke lets go of Crawford especially since they have a good bond.

Have a quick peek at who started this thread. Most Sonic fans don't want him in Seattle at the moment, anyway, as he is just not a good fit.

Saw Jamal at the gym again last week. I guess he spends his offseason here in his hometown.

He was doing some wrist curls, at the direction of his buddy who told him 'This will help you shoot when you're tired'.

I'm sure the Knicks are thrilled to know that [IMG]

i think he would do good being a sixth man. he could be the spark off the bench. but he isnt really that good defensive wise.
